Is this really an article about a game's graphics based on a Youtube video? Sounds like a sick joke to me. Youtube videos are tremendously compressed and very low-res...And you're criticizing a game's graphics based on that?
http://www.gametrailers.com...
Watch THAT video, and feel free to criticize based on it as you see fit. It's not the best looking game in history, but it really isn't bad, a...
But even when hot girl gameplay is bad, it's still good. ;)
The character model for the barbarian looks like the character model for the barbarian in the second game. I don't see where the complaints are coming from...The witch doctor? Meh...The D2 sorceress, amazon, and paladin all looked straight out of WoW, so what's your point?
The environments could cut back some on the light, but aside from that, I see no problems with the way the game looks.
This is the wonderful similarity we see when the PS3 version is lead instead of just an afterthought port. Ugh, I wish more companies would take that approach...
Cevat Yerli is basically claiming that 20,000,000 pirated copies are out there, so apparently it doesn't matter how many copies were sold...It's the most popular game since the Sims. :P
I really like the graphical style of this game. Hope it turns out good.
The only problem I had with 2.4 is that I had to dig my old wireless keyboard up because my thumbs were getting sore. Who knew that texting while gaming would be so hard on the hands. ;)
I hope anyone really having issues gets them straightened out in good order.
Hopefully they get around to it when they've got some time. I'm glad they've got their priorities straight. R2's development is a lot more important to me than trophies in R1 and R&C, as much as I love those two games.
This is why I only buy first-party games. :P
Cool, thanks.
As far as I know, the 80GB model already does software emulation for PS2 titles. That means that if they intended for the 40GB to have the same functionality, they'd probably have patched it in already.
This is why I don't think there's going to be PS2 titles on the store. They sell a lot more 40GBs than they sell 80GBs, and if they're not adding backwards compatibility for the model they sell more of, it'll flop hard.
Then again, I don't know any of this to be fact....
I'd kill for Firefox to become the PS3 web browser. :o
I'm sure Blizzard's employees are crying themselves to sleep at night because Ashley Cheng doesn't approve of their games. It is noteworthy that they're crying into pillows stuffed with money, which are placed on a bed stuffed with money, which is located in a house built of money encased in diamonds and gold. Yeah, it's not a pretty house, but it sure gets the point across. :P
It's a pity they never patched in rumble for it.
FEAR was a good game. The PS3 version was just a lame port. :P
Very cool. Glad it's coming. Kinda neat that you can switch games like that...Might end up buying SOCOM through the PSN instead for that feature alone. :)
That's a bit of a leap. A lot of people were theorizing that they would branch out into 360land after they announced the new office, myself included. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case, and one of the best PS3 developers will apparently remain exclusive to the PS3...But there was always the possibility that the money was too good. I'm glad someone laid that rumor to rest.
Sadly, I'm sure many third-party game developers will continue to use it. :P
The fact that it's an FPS that utilizes sixaxis in a remotely meaningful way is new enough for me. I hope it's part of the cover system, instead of some obnoxious button-press snap mechanic. The way they're implementing cover in SOCOM is so awesome...
The slight jaggies here and there are actually reassuring to me. They prove that the Killzone 2 screenshots aren't heavily doctored.
