I really hope that the full game operates at a higher resolution than the demo. It's sad when a release game like Resistance looks a lot better than a game that has been delayed repeatedly.

I'd buy Bioshock for PS3 on release night.
The odds that Resistance 2 will outsell Gears 2 are pretty slim given the disparity in install base size. This isn't really up for debate, so I don't see why this is "news" at all.
They're both going to be great games, this is just a marketing ploy.
This is the natural ebb and flow of technology. At the start of every generation, console hardware is always very competitive with PC hardware. However, as time goes on, it starts to show its age, since it cannot be upgraded in the same way that a PC's hardware can be.
Either way, we all owe PC gaming a debt of gratitude. Those graphics chips we all love in our PS3s and 360s wouldn't have been possible without the constant competition in the PC gaming industry. Let's all hope tha...
I certainly wouldn't argue with any browser improvements. As it stands now, the PS3's web browser really isn't very useful...It can't even properly render Youtube.

They'd have to rename the series Metal Gear Cyborg Ninja Gaiden, because that's what it would be if Raiden became the hero for MGS5. ;)
It'll be cross-platform, and Gametrailers will release a video demonstrating conclusively that the 360 version has better physics.
I'm guessing that these shots are from cutscenes, and that the actual game renders in 720p. Either way, incredibly beautiful graphics...And based on the gameplay video that's on the PSN, it appears that the gameplay doesn't look too dramatically different from the cutscenes. That makes it all the more impressive because they both look awesome.
I noted the same thing when I watched some of the trailers. It made me chuckle.
I might actually build up a new gaming PC so I can play it eventually.
Valkyria Chronicles is supposed to be released in the EU and US some time this autumn, if I remember correctly, and SOCOM: Confrontation is supposed to be rolling out in September.
I only own a PS3 and would love to play Mass Effect. They'd have to get the first game to the PS3 as well before I'd buy the sequel, though.
It's actually pretty simple to work around the remote issue. There are a few remotes for the PS3 that come with a USB device that allows it to receive IR. They're designed for use with the included remote, but you can apparently use them for univeral remotes, too. One of those remotes costs a grand total of like $15, so it's not exactly going to break the bank if you're already aiming to buy a Logitech Harmony.

I have a bad feeling that, if this mess goes hostile, they won't be getting the same sort of agreement that allows Blizzard to stay autonomous. EA is going to want to bilk the GTA franchise for all the money they can, and they'll destroy it in the process. They don't care.

Hopefully there's some good in-game footage available on the 13th of June. It was kinda hinted at in the teaser. I want to know if it looks anywhere near as good as the "screenshots" that were posted back in January.
GTA IV has really bad pixelation issues. It makes me wonder if the reviewers played it on an 11" TV or something, because that's the only way they'd be able to claim that the game was beautiful.
Don't get me wrong...It's fun. It just isn't beautiful. Too many jaggies for that. :P
I hope the finished product looks better than the demo. Resistance: Fall of Man looks infinitely better, and it's a release title.
