Loot crates still there. No purchase for me.

I'd buy that. But agree a full redo would be required. Get it up to BOTW levels

Reporter has a valid point. It's sensible journalism. Thing is, some of you guys quote other games as being more violent or explicit. This to me, shows you don't get it. It's the separation between fantasy violence and the closeness to real violence. That's what is being registered, even if that's not always understood. Maiming and exploding aliens is fantasy. When developers try to make it too 'real', that can be a problem. The fact that many on N4G don't see ...

Just smile, and let it go!

I'm pretty sure, the trailer didn't worry you in the slightest, did it?

Hi Iceman.
You make a fair point. Artists do have to make a living, and that had produced many works created to order. Gaudi, as an example had a 'sponsor',without whom he couldn't have continued his works. I get that. Fundamentally, however, art is a 'not for profit' process. But maybe, this is getting a little too deep for a discussion about a video game. Bottom line, as I pointed out in a previous reply, I don't think video games are a comfortable fit for s...

Hi rainslacker.
I strongly disagree that art is created for profit. I'll certainly agree much art does make profit, sure. But that isn't usually down to the artists intention. You point out yourself, that art often has very little impact at the time of it's creation.I suggest the reason for that is art doesn't have an intrinsic monetary value, it's art! The fact that money isn't usually made until long after it has been created, kind of suggests it wasn't cr...

Probably. After all, it's business. Thing is, I don't thing it's aimed at hardcore particularly. Looking at the posts reveals it's not going to change the minds of any hardcore fans. The back and forth between the blind loyalty of either side is quite funny to me. If you guys want the REAL truth,(You can't handle the truth!) here it is. Own all three major consoles, that's the only way to get the best versions AND best exclusives. Yes, I'll have a Scorpio thank you...

I don't get that at all. I find playing video games on the go extremely distracting. When I'm out and about, the real world has precedence. And at home, why wouldn't I play on a large screen? I suppose it's convenient if the large screen is shared or you're away from home and don't have access to a large screen, other than that. My switch doesn't leave it's dock. But whatever suits the individual.Be interested to hear why anyone would prefer a small screen

What? Angry are we?

3010d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yeah, me too. My switch is purely to play Nintendo games and possibly exclusives if they exist. As for everything else, I'll play on Scorpio or PS4. Online is being advertised as being more costly that Sony's or MS' services. That's simply not gonna cut it, unless you only have Switch,of course.

Looks to be more expensive than either PS4 or XB1 online service. That simply doesn't add up to me. I'll stay offline until I see how they are justifying the extra cost.

Standard Sandisk 128MB UHS 1 etc. No advantage buying Nintendo branded card.

Yeah, just my opinion, but no, computer games aren't art. Fundamentally, games are made for profit and designed to entertain, for profit.I emphasize the word 'profit'. If you want to place a microscope on society and ask moral or ethical questions, get a soap box or go into politics. Can you do both? Haven't encountered a game that managed it yet. Art for art sake......etc

My thoughts too. That's why I got my Switch and bundle, recently. If the worst happens I can hunker down with Mario. :)
Great gaming, TheOttomatic91.

I remember it well! Awful management decisions. Still, they did also create the gaming industry proper, in the first place. I still have my Atari 'Woody' 2600. Their new creation sounds interesting.Great gaming, Feldman9000

Hello Nitus10
Yeah, retro gaming. I reckon I could play my back catalogue for the next ten years, without having to buy another game :) But let's hope more people like yourself decide to take a stand, because we need a strong gaming industry. Great gaming Nitus10

@WeebLord.
'Death of gaming'. Maybe it isn't a thing yet, and maybe if you consider MT's to be acceptable then maybe, it never will be. Maybe!
Or just maybe, the choice you enjoy now, will become less of a choice as more games include MT's, Maybe. Of course, you could get on board and help fight off this menace to gaming. Or you can just choose ignore it as a non-thing, and shrug off other peoples opinions as 'melodramatic'. Great gaming, WeebLord...

Two brilliant titles. What's not to like.

To all those gamers not seeing the big deal with MT's, I get it. Some of the current run of MT's seem purely superficial, and in no way effect game play, right? I ask you, honestly. Do you think they will stay that way? Once publishers have established that revenue stream, they will tighten the grip. Look to mobile games, and the model used there, because that's what's next for us main stream gamers. I wish you all great gaming, while we have it.
