And there you have it. Who the hell would choose to play COD on a switch! I got my switch purely for Nintendo IP, no other reason. Couldn't give a damn about portability. So for me, yes, Switch is sure as hell overpriced. Fortunately, for me, my financial acumen and my knowledge of logic work different shifts, so they never get to meet.
You could be right. That's assuming it's out in two years :)
In spite of knowing much of what you say is correct, I still got one! People aye, what you gonna do! :)
While it's obviously designed to be used in either, if you have the stand. I would always recommend horizontal, for maximum heat dissipation.
Probably the greatest 'game' undertaking, ever. Who the hell is going to own the equipment to run this thing! And because of that, how many copies will they sell initially, I wonder? Over time, sure, this will probably be the best selling product in gaming history, but not until every day tech catches up with their ambition. Looks stunning.
While it's true the hardware is pretty crap, the (Nintendo) games are superb. And what I find ironic, is how people on this site constantly post that devs should prioritize frame rate over resolution, then when a company actually does this, you complain about resolution! Many of the big AAA games on the so called powerful hardware from MS and Sony, just about mange 30FPS on many major titles. Preferring instead, to push the resolution god. Personally, and I mean this is just an opinion o...
Actually, no! State of Decay 2, is one of my most anticipated games. It may not be your thing, and that's fine. For, me however, It's a far more interesting prospect than any of the other X1 or PS4 games, exclusive or otherwise. Oh, and I own most of them. As you grow, you will understand it's okay for people to have different opinions. Really, it doesn't detract from your opinion at all. Happy gaming!
Yes, absolutely. I mean, why wouldn't they advertise them, right. Mt's are good aren't they? It's giving players choice after all. Force them to include MT inclusions on the game box.
'I have never denied myself a system or game because of these optional policies. When these policies become intrusive and mandatory is when i would choose not to participate.'
You mean when it's too late to do anything about it? Some people do, some people don't and some people, just don't know.
A few points. Firstly, They would say that wouldn't they. Secondly, There are three games I won't be purchasing so far, that had they not contained loot boxes, I would have purchased. I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority of gamers in this regard, currently. However, hopefully that may change. And lastly, judging from others comments, there are still many gamers who really don't see the larger issue with MT's. The problem isn't simply a matter of cosmetic MT's o...
Reading between the lines, I suspect MS, and the others are trying to create a win,win situation for themselves. As it stands now, many single player games flop, because there is little innovation in the industry and too many games are rubbish. That's the truth of it. If the publishers can manipulate a situation where poor games don't loose them money they can churn out more and more titles without worry. Basically, they want to use gamers as their insurance against loss.
Great technology, with lots of potential, but implementation was poor. I never used it for privacy reasons, but it will return in another form as V.R becomes standard.
With you guys! ^^
Another issue that shouldn't be broken down into personal allegiances. This is a problem that will face all gamers, regardless of platform. The industry is making lots of excuses and reasons why, they need to do this or need to do that. The reality is, they will only do what we let them get away with. We're all familiar with the concept of 'divide and conquer'. If you guys refuse to suspend you alliances for the sake more important concerns in gaming, the publishers win.Gaming,...
The argument over whether to choose PC or console, really is just personal preference, and funds. Over the years I've supported both 'camps', but ultimately, I settled on consoles, and I'm fully aware of the sacrifices that currently means. I kind of view it like this. High end PC = going to the cinema. Ultimate experience, best picture, best sound etc. But the cost of entry is inconvenience and effort. Console= Same movie at home. Graphics are ok, sounds not bad, but it's...
This is one of those rare issues that most gamers can unite around. Even people who don't really care now, understand it could be detrimental to gaming in the future. And while It's true our community on N4G is just a very small fraction of a much bigger gaming population, we can change things, together. Avoid the worst publishers and Devs that blatantly abuse their customers in pursuit of greed. Use your knowledge to inform others of what's happening. You only have to read the pas...
I agree. No such thing as a good loot box. While it could be argued not all are currently, bad, their eventual destination is obvious. If you like gaming, you must out of necessity therefore, despise loot boxes.
So, pretty much like everything else then. Fine in moderation. :)
Now, where's are all the guys who made out MT's wouldn't be a problem ! The end of gaming as we know it becomes one step closer. Forget Sony or MS alliances, this is about gaming. Oh well, too late.
