For me, it's these types of features that make the statement for, and why I purchased, an X. It's not about the extra power so much as the intent of MS going forward. If they can finally decide to invest in games, and we all know that's a big If, no matter what they may say, then MS could be the ones to watch next gen. However, I have no doubt Sony aren't going to stand by and watch. I know I've said this before, but Sony WILL have BC next gen, for sure.

Just out of interest, why did you put 80+ hours into the game? That's seems an awful long time to invest in a game you are disappointed in, don't you think? I do agree there are some issues with the design, for sure. I agree that completing quests only to be given a crappy sword or a few rupees. doesn't really encourage quest completion or exploration. Personally, I would like to see many more secrets to discover. You know, you wander round find all these fantastic ruins only to ...

And your logic is sound, from a gamers perspective. However, having been a 'coder' myself, the thrill and challenge of getting something like this working, is it's own reward. For me, coding, especially 'assembly' programing is pretty much a creative art. And, although, I never actually completed my main project -a 6502/6800 cross assembler at the time, I still remember how addictive it became. I have nothing but admiration for their efforts, but not in the sense of being ...

Telling comment for me, was mentioning how third party support isn't that important. I have no concerns about Switch doing well so long as Nintendo continue to supply first party games, regularly. If that's stops, there could be problems. Let's be honest, when people discuss Switch it's always mentioned how great Zelda or Mario are, and that's true. Nintendo, imo, are more reliant on first party than either of it's main competitors. It's a great console, and keep me su...

Do I really need to give examples? I'm not on about games software, here. Okay, lets take Mixer as an example. Didn't ask for it, don't want it, but can't remove it. Of course, I'm not just talking MS, Sony do this too. Advertising on my machine. Din't ask for it, don't want it, can't remove it. Hopefully, you understand me, now.

It is a shame, especially since Nintendo do always go for 60fps, that's what I like about their own games. I think 720p@60 would be fine for this game. 720p is still good, imo.

Forget the machine you will run this on. 1080p@60, that's what we are always asking for. We get 1080p@60 and everybody is cheering.. oh wait. This really goes to show that some people are more interested in who has the better version, than is the game any good. All some are interested in is whether it's a better version than the competitor! That's quite sad, imho. Personally,I think Pro and even Switch are probably capable of a bit more for this particular game, but 1080p@60 is good...

Sensitive issues, that he probably knows very little about. And no. I don't know that for a fact, but somebody actively involved in this kind of work would be unlikely to recommend this action. As can be seen from the reaction by organisations who do know what the hell they are talking about.

It's a poor choice. Yes, these topics need to be discussed and considered, but video 'games' is probably not the best medium, imho. If you feel that strongly, then maybe you should get involved and try to make a real difference. It's very easy to make 'statements' about such topics.

EA just needs rebranding. I don't want to see talented developers lose work. It's just the management that all need firing. Get rid of the suits and let the developers make decisions about gaming.

Here is how MS can engage more fully with me. Firstly, let ME choose what software I install on my Xbox. Secondly, Let ME choose what to delete and when. In other words, restore my 'choices'. Of course, this applies not only ot MS. Oh, and I know this is talking to shareholders, but what the hell is wrong with using words people can easily understand instead of all this buisness speak. Jerks!

Pirating software, games or otherwise leaves you open to having your machine hacked. It's a classic trojan technique. But of course, you guys will swear you've never been hacked this way, but you have. A technique used way, way, back, was to go into an office and leave a floppy disk on a desk, then just leave. The disk was labeled as a popular game. Yep, it did have the game on the disk, but it also had... Well, that's a very long time ago, but the idea, it still used today.

I think the importance of BC starts with the current gen of consoles. In the past BC has been a nice feature, but due to the longer generations it wasn't so critical. Most people had fully explored their library in the six years or so. Now, however, with potentially much shorter generations there won't always be time to play your games and explore all available games before the next generation starts. I don't want to buy a game in this gen and never get any replay value because we ...

Ask the police, the press, the lawyers, the bankers, and countless other organizations that self regulate how that worked out for the people. If you have a vested interest in the outcome, how can you remain independent and objective. Answer: you can't !
