Nah, I'm definitely hoping the game has a 60fps mode like all of Sony's other PS5 games so far. It would be a shame to go backwards. It's also a PS4 game so it seems very unlikely that it won't have a 60fps option.
Will be playing R&C: Rift Apart in 60fps as well.

Days Gone fans: "You didn't play the game long enough to realize its brilliance! Your opinion is invalid."
Also Days Gone fans: "Why would you play it so long if you weren't enjoying it? Sure ..."
It's a review of the PC release which also only recently occurred. It's going to reflect the current discussion around the game more than reviews from 2 years ago.
They never said how Days Gone sold, and it definitely sold a lot better.
Their expectations were definitely not as high as something like Days Gone though, and this had a much lower budget and low marketing costs.
Not going to lie, I burst out laughing when he said "the guerilla fantasy".
This looks more fun than FC5, tbh. From 35:49, they properly talk about gameplay features. The environment looks wider and denser (35:08), and the main villain seems like an improvement. Talking protagonists are back. The graphics in the cutscenes aren't amazing but the environment looks very detailed and I think there's ray-tracing.
It will still have Ubisoft...
"how many Blockbuster AAA games have Microsoft put on game pass I'll wait for your reply"
lol. I didn't even mention Xbox and you're obviously trying to turn this into PS Now versus GamePass to get upvotes from fanboys, but how did you think you were making a winning argument here? The last Xbox I owned was a 360 but I have been paying attention to GamePass and it objectively has more recent stuff. Off the top of my head: MLB The Show (how can you down...
"Your statement is so wrong how is one month of Plus better than having hundreds of game on PlayStation now."
C'mon, dude. I was saying that the additions in one month of PS Plus are better than the additions for multiple months of PS Now these days. This particularly true since the PS5 came out. Just because I'm a PS fan doesn't mean I need to force myself to like PS Now. I'll definitely take Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation Tango over a 6 year ...
Ah yes, The Witcher 3 of 2015. PS Now must be getting folded into some other service soon because it's getting worse and worse.
3 of these are PS Plus games, including a a game on PS Plus this month! PS Plus is 10 times more popular than PS Now, so a service where a high percentage of the games are just recycled from PS Plus is not worth paying for. A single month of PS Plus is usually better than multiple months of PS Now.
To be fair, Killzone 1 wasn't great. The difference in quality between Killzone 1 and 2 was a big jump for GG as well.
I told people that Sony absolutely would not have a late review embargo for R&C: Rift Apart, Horizon: Forbidden West or GOW: Ragnorok.
Given the quality of the game, it objectively was very weird that Returnal had a late review embargo. Unless they had some updates to roll out fairly close to release, it showed a lack of confidence and probably hurt the game's sales, tbh. Given the high reviews, an earlier review cycle would have hyped more people into buying the ga...
He wasn't giving them a pass (he was complaining about them).
"CD Projekt Red can be trusted, and they are honest with their fans." - all of us before Cyberpunk 2077
I played about 10 hours of FC5 and just had to give up. For whatever reason, I just didn't find it fun to play. Getting constantly attacked by NPCs when travelling didn't help. It also had very little personality compared to FC3 and was so afraid of offending people (both right and left wing) that it felt very dumbed down - a trend in Ubisoft games. Far Cry 3 didn't give af.
No talking protagonist either. And micro-transactions.
I suppose the Dualsense is a different shape than the DS3 and pressing L1/R1 might not be as comfortable, but if that's not an issue, you can just go into your PS5 settings and use the custom button assignments.
VF5: Ultimate Showdown and Star Wars: Squadrons are solid picks.
Not sure about Operation: Tango since there are no reviews for it yet. I've looked at some preview videos and it could be good though. It's cool that 2 games are launching day-and-date on the service.
Yeah, since these are launch games, there's probably always a consistent amount of people buying them right now when they pick up a PS5 so they don't really need to discount them. That or they're intentionally not discounting them to force people to get used to paying €80. It sucks. Hopefully things get better as the generation goes on because €80 games are bullshit.
Not really, tbh. It's been around 6 months and the discounts are very small compared to the discounts seen on Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 during the same timeframe. Demon's Souls also has a higher base price to begin with so it's the same price as a full priced Sony PS4 game .. with the discount.
It would be cool if they said, "And while you're waiting for Forbidden West to drop this fall, you can now enjoy Horizon Zero Dawn on your PS5 at 60 frames per second."
"makes me think the reviewer didn’t actually play the game." This seems to be the default argument whenever people disagree over a video-game right now. Same with Days Gone. At least he's not being literal in this case but I hope people move on from this line of argument.
"Biomutant is a pretty good time if all you want is something strange and nice to look at." "I think I would probably agree to this. Only, in the aforementioned review, this is...
What in particular looked very interesting for you?
