On this topic, I have to agree. I mean, c'mon, if people are going to make an allegation that loads of reviewers didn't even finish the game then they should at least have some solid evidence to back up that claim and specify which reviews they take issue with. I knew you were making a joke but the reason your joke even makes sense is because some people would unironically say the same thing.
Logically, there would be nothing wrong with letting players quicksave when they quit the game and just resuming from that point when they resume the game (no save scumming).

This is one thing I'm not liking about the next gen consoles. It seems like buying the games 2-3 months later will get you a much better experience (e.g. option for 60fps RT in Miles Morales) due to optimizations (much more so than last gen) so why would I ever buy a game at launch anymore?

The gameplay looks very different to NMS. It seems to be really focused on movement systems (flying, swimming, **hoverboard/snowboarding**, riding unicorns, climbing, jumping from precisely from rock to rock, there's an emphasis on gravity, etc), not resource management. Spiderman is €60 here (a fair, competitive price) in Ireland and obviously a huge property whereas Demon's Souls is a €80 remake. Consumers are rejecting those prices to some extent. I think Returnal would be selling quite a bit better at a slightly lower price as well (e.g. €70 - the standard price for Sony's PS4 games and most PS5 games).

The main issue with the footage is that it looks very choppy which gives it an unpolished feel. There's very noticeable stuttering. If you own a PS5 or a Series X, I suppose it shouldn't be an issue though

I'm starting to think that the reason we haven't gotten 60fps patches is because next gen ports of these games are being made and we'll have to pay for them. There was a rumour about Death Stranding being ported to PS5 and we know Factions is being made.
Will not be surprised if Zero Dawn Remastered will be in the Deluxe Edition for Forbidden West and if that's the reason that Horizon hasn't been given a simple update to 60fps. I hope that's not true...
Tbh, it sounds like good news but you need to read their comments from earlier this year to really understand what they mean by having a diverse lineup (e.g. more free-to-play games, mobile games).
