This comment is insane. haha. Everyone knows this a heavily story based game so of course the lead character is relevant to the quality of the game.
The reviewer briefly praised the setting and lead character as being unique in the first paragraph before moving on to describing the plot. Did anyone who upvoted this comment even read the review?
@Saaleh
I know this is just a video game website but I'm genuinely a bit worried about you after reading your comment, man. You only stock up on food once a month to fix your mistakes? "I am very thin. I rarely desire something." Why would you need to do that to yourself? There's no way what you're describing could be good for a person's mental health.
I don't even know how to respond to your view of politics because you'...
lol. The reaction here reminds me of when people recorded videos of themselves burning their own Nike shoes.
Let's cut through the crap. The only virtue signaling that corporations like Nintendo are doing is pretending they care and not being honest about the bigger reason behind why they want diversity: profit. Studies have been commissioned and companies have data showing them that more diverse companies financially outperform others and **make more money**. That'...
lol. Let's cut through the crap. You feel that your position in society is being threatened by "diversity" (the other 70% of Americans) and you want the status quo to be maintained, so you're portraying people who want a fairer society and more inclusion in a big industry as being evil.
"Maintain the status quo that benefits me ... or else."
Tbh man, your comment is a bit ignorant but I don't think you've picked this information up quite right. They develop and iterate on these maps CONCURRENTLY for 6-12 months.
This is like complaining that it took Insomniac a year to fully complete a "single" swinging animation in Spider-Man. So what, you know? These things are usually not done one by one and require iteration and play testing.
This article really needs to be removed. The title itself is not even true. This shouldn't have been approved.
It came out 3.5 years after the other consoles. It's a lot younger than the PS4 and XB1 (earlier in its lifecycle).
It's sad but many people were oblivious to political messages in their favourite movies, books, games, TV shows and even comics when they were younger, and now they're becoming hyper aware of it and just can't handle it. Lots of YouTubers are cashing in on it as well.
Everything before around 2013/2014 gets a pass. Imagine some jackass in 2007 trying to tell you that Bioshock sucks because it's too political. "I play games for escapism and to get away f...
lol. It doesn't have to be capable of full 4K or anything. The Switch is very underpowered compared to the 8 year old OG PS4 - there's a lot of room for improvement between the current Switch and a hypothetical 4K Switch without going the full way.
"There is one new game in the charts this week: Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance at No.23. The game sold primarily on PlayStation consoles (54% on PS5 and 42% on PS4). The game is part of the Game Pass subscription service on Xbox, and that data is not counted here."
Isn't this proof that Game Pass does drastically reduce game sales? 96% sales on PS consoles is obviously disproportionate.
lol. The people defending the $10 upgrade are the clowns. Other cross-gen PS5 games like Miles Morales and FF7 have had free upgrades with much larger graphical upgrades, e.g. ray-tracing.
@Extermin8or3_
No, the reason this is happening is obviously because of a company-wide cross gen policy. Forbidden West and GOW2 are likely going to have a $10 upgrade scheme to their $70 PS5 versions as well.
That's all there is to it. You're trying to rationalize greed. From the marketing, the graphical upgrade is mostly just a resolution bump. No mention of improved lighting or any new graphical features. Dualsense support doesn't require m...
@Dsynder
You used "rainbow flag" as an insult, and the rainbow flag is strongly associated with gay people. The meaning isn't that well hidden. What, do you think the rainbow flag is an actual celebration of rainbows? haha. Gobshite.
"A game having gay characters in it does not make it revolutionary or breathtaking in any way." You have issues, man. Nobody here actually said any of that. You're the one posting loads of comments...
"The Last of **Us** Trans"
So, you're coming out as trans, Mijeme?
Both are bullshit. Just because Skyward Sword HD is a rip-off doesn't justify other rip-offs.
We didn't need to pay to upgrade to the PS5 version of Miles Morales. This is offers a much smaller upgrade (e.g. no ray tracing, no big visual enhancements mentioned in marketing besides a resolution bump) and it costs money.
It's fair to point out that one Sony game did this much better than the other, along with other exclusives like FF7.
Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure have free upgrades (you also get the PS5 version), and FF7 is a big exclusive that lets you upgrade to the PS5 version for free (minus the DLC).
This should be free as well. Miles Morales and FF7 also offer much bigger visual upgrades over the last gen versions.
Definitely. The large increase in RT reflection resolution in R&C over MM (for the performance modes) was discussed in a Digital Foundry interview with one of the lead developers. The optimization actually came in the Day 1 update so they've managed to apply this to MM in a very short timeframe.
Speaking of inclusiveness, it would be nice if PlayStation owners could get the same quality version of Psychonauts 2 for the same money (Series X version but no PS5 version). Inclusiveness only goes so far though, I suppose. A lot of us would appreciate that much more than this toggle.
Considering this is the last Double Fine game on PS consoles anyway, it's just a bit petty really. It would be like if Sony gimped the Xbox version of MLB The Show (if they could get awa...
