It's interesting that Wreckfest PS5 was said to be releasing in June. It looks like they've pushed up the release date for PS Plus.
@Tacoboto
Druckmann said that the outline is for a story that they're not making (TLOU2 sequel), i.e. they're not making TLOU3. The headline is omitting the most important part of the article.
Objectively, what I'm saying is true. People are arguing in the comments about a game that isn't even being made. All of the arguing over nothing attracts clicks ... which generates ad revenue. It's clickbait.
If you read between the lines, Druckmann all but confirms that they're not making TLOU3 (for now, anyway) and that they are indeed working on a new IP as has been rumoured.
"I don’t know how much I want to reveal… [co-writer Halley Gross] and I did write an outline for a story, that we’re not making"
This title of this article is clickbait, tbh. It's annoying when even the media are trying to stir up the people who were outraged last yea...
Thank you. Barely anyone is bothering to actually read the article which has a fairly clickbait title, tbh.
If you read between the lines, this is just more confirmation that they're working on a new IP.
His old cooldown was only 15 seconds though, and I believe his maximum cooldown now is up to 35 seconds.
The last time I played it, the new system seemed very punishing. For example, if you grapple into a slide, the slide itself also increases the cooldown. I can understand your cooldown being affected by grappling a large distance, but the second you hit the ground it shouldn't affect the countdown anymore.
Did they ever fix that? From memory, they d...
I mostly stopped playing this game when they nerfed Pathfinder's grapple hook to the point where he's not even fun to use anymore.
Those movement mechanics were amazing. If they ever fix him, I'll gladly go back.
It would be nice if it actually is due soon. A lot of these promised free next gen upgrades (Doom Eternal, Ghostrunner, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077) are certainly taking their time considering how long ago they were announced.
I was expecting this to drop around August/September.

"The forced inclusion of politics in this 'Animal Farm' game is truly like something out of George Orwell's 1984. Keep woke politics and virtue signaling out of Animal Farm or you won't get my money."
[incoherent rambling about why politics should not be allowed in media I like even though politics have always been present in media I like such as Bioshock, Blade Runner, Silence Of The Lambs and even Star Wars]
People have become hyperaware and cry about politics in new stuff, but somehow manage to ignore it in everything that came out before 2014. The cognitive dissonance is amazing.
It's always interesting to see how people react when you tell the...

"...lost the overarching point I was making about Returnal and it's apparent late review embargo."
You asked me to explain why Days Gone's review embargo was late, and I did that for you. I talked about Days Gone's mock reviews informing Sony what the Metacritic score would roughly be which Jeff Ross (Days Gone director) has publicly talked about. You could have replied to that point but choose not because I disproved ...
@ArchangelMike
I already explained that. There are companies that create mock reviews for publishers like Sony and they give an estimated average score for a game. Jeff Ross (director of Days Gone) talked about one of the averages being almost bang on David Jaffe's podcast. They started receiving these mock reviews about 6 months out from launch. What I'm saying is veritably true. Sony already knew the game wouldn't get great reviews because ... they already had...
As we all know, Mafia 3 got a 90 on Metacritic for diversity and addressing social issues. Oh wait ...
I don't think anyone genuinely believes that Second Extinction will be better than Returnal. haha
This comment is hilarious. You're getting offended about something that isn't happening.
Sony's review embargos always correlate with their confidence in a game - they commission mock reviews so they already roughly know the score. Jeff Ross (director of Days Gone) even said that the mock reviews were quite accurate for DG on a podcast with David Jaffe. Nothing has changed since Days Gone, so what you're saying isn't true.

"This isn't really about 120fps though"
Tbh, I genuinely don't understand your response. I read the article and every game listed except Sea Of Solitude will support 120fps.
"The full list of new FPS Boost-enabled games on Xbox Series X|S include:
Battlefield 4: FPS Boost up to 120fps
Battlefield 1: FPS Boost up to 120fps
Battlefield V: FPS Boost up to 120fps
Mirror's Edge Catalyst: FPS Boost ...
Really hope Sony can do something similar, at least to 60fps. Don't have a TV that support 120fps, nor do most people, so that's not a huge deal just yet but it's definitely nice.
At least give us Horizon 60fps, Sony.
@Luc20
Sure, but without taxes there's still almost a $10 pricing difference which is my main issue.
The game is also going to be €10 more than RE8, for example. That puts it at a big competitive disadvantage.
My only concern at this stage is the price. EU customers are getting a rough deal with Sony's current pricing (€80). €80 is almost 100 American dollars which is obviously way more than Americans are paying. UK customers are getting shafted as well.
If you remove taxes (VAT) which Sony have no control over, the game would be around €65 which is over $78, while without taxes Americans are only paying $70. That's almost a $10 difference a pop, and isn't fair to EU ...
@Tacoboto
C'mon man, the article even falsely claims that Druckmann said that "the story for the third chapter of the series would be ready and that sooner or later will “see the light of the day”".
Druckmann did not say that. He said that the outline isn't being made but that he HOPES it will see light of day some day, and "we'll see", not that "sooner or later" TLOU3 will be made and it's inevitable.
