Can't wait for the Super Ultra New New 3DS XXL edition, with an exclusive New New, Seriously, It's New! Super Mario Bros with the Delux Extreme Second Analogue Stick in anticipation of the Delux Super Extreme Advanced Really Damn Insanely Uncontrollably New Second Analogue Stick 2017. Nintendo sure love nickel and diming their consumers.
At least this isn't as bad as that time George Lucas ruined my childhood, and the lives of millions.
On a side note, why would they announce the new 3DS now, and say it's not coming to Europe until 2015? This could potentially make a lot of people hold off getting a 3DS, considering its not just a small revision. It's a substantial upgrade, and some new games won't be playable on the old 3DS.

Most of those innovations are around 2 decades old besides avatars and motion controls (which was really just a fad that has come and gone, and didn't really contribute positively to games, especially not in the way their earlier innovations did). It would be awesome if their modern consoles were improvements in this manner. For example, if they continued the development of the Gamecube controller, drastically improved their online services while still making it feel very Nintendo-ey, bro...
Well, the average gamer is 31 years old, so that's just common sense. Teenage boys play more games than teenage girls, and adult males play more games than adult females. If we were to have a look at what gender has bought the majority of consoles, and even more so next-gen consoles, I think we all know it would be men. This is merely manipulation of statistics to serve an agenda.
The social games most women are playing don't even require powerful machines, and can be...
Common sense dictates those who haven't played it yet, those who sold it and are now re-buying it and, in general, likely many who were probably waiting just for a price drop. Some might just play it for the campaign, the co-op, and some split-screen multi-player.
Ghosts isn't George Lucas. It won't ruin your childhood (even if the online isn't particularly good).
If Microsoft weren't so strict, you'd already have it.
IonDestroy,
I don't know how I thought Sucker Punch made Spyro. I think I was going to mention Syro, Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance, but thought the comment would be too long.
Anyway, I just thought his comment was filled with inaccuracies and was really extreme. He basically think that Sony don't have any money so they don't make any first party games, feels all 3rd party games are crap, and is gleefully imagining PlayStation and Xbox consoles...
lol, why are you still harrassing me? Get lost. I've enjoyed a few of the CoDs. So what? You probably have too. A game like Cod is not reflective of one's age. However, your immaturity is.
Sony puts out way more first party games than Nintendo, and do so for a longer period of time, which makes Nintendo look bad since they apparently have so much resources. Even though only 4/10 of games Sony publish make money, they still put them out anyway to diversify the library. Nintendo never puts out innovative games like Jouney, Heavy Rain, Flower, Puppeteer, Little Big Planet, etc (too much of a risk if they can't slap Mario in the name). Nintendo basically abondoned the Wii year...
Nope, AC4 was a damn great game. AC3, on the other hand, was mostly boring. If you liked AC3, and didn't like AC4, you must hate fun or something. The exploration/freedom, and the theme itself just worked so well in a videogame.
C_Ali88,
I'm pretty sure you'd think most are childish for calling Nintendo games 'kiddie', or saying that Mario or Metroid are 'total shit'. Well, those people are being childish, and so are you. Just because you're getting mad at Ubisoft, doesn't mean you need to turn into an asshole. It seems that you're the one who needs to calm down. We're perfectly calm and you seem enraged.
'Try not to get too butthurt child&...
'These youngsters don't play Nintendo games, so they don't know what fun is.' Games don't succeed merely because they have bigger guns and more buckets of blood. You're begrudging young people simply because they don't love Nintendo. If Nintendo was more savy, they would.
Owners of Nintendo consoles have been gradually leaving and moving onto other platforms since the NES. It's not just the current generation, it also includes whatever age brac...
AC4 was great, not 'total shit'. No need to get childish.
The three year development cycle seems to be paying off. This game actually looks great. I was really annoyed when they removed this mode from MW2, so it's nice to see it make a comeback.
I'd imagine this is going to be particularly awesome because of double-jumps, dashs, etc.
Good news for Nintendo.
Nah, there's plenty more to core gaming than just Nintendo games. Do you want to know why many prefer Game of Thrones over The Lord of The Rings? Game of Thrones achieves the same scale and awe, while also being somewhat grounded.
Nintendo gamers like to brand something being grounded as being 'realistic' because you want to make those 'other' games look boring, as if games like Far Cry, God of War, Borderlands, Uncharted or Burnout Paradise are truly rea...
''If I wanted to jump, I'd just jump, or go to a challenge course!
If I wanted to race Go karts, I'd just race Go karts!
If I wanted to train animals, I'd buy a dog.
If I wanted to go an epic quest, I'd go on a plane to the Himalyas''
Do you not see how minimalistc and truly stupid you're attitude is? Unfortunately, there is a very distict minority of Nintendo gamers who would rather pretend that Nintendo is some sor...
Brotherhood is much better than 2 and Revelations was actually quite good, but suffered for feeling a bit too samey. Didn't enjoy AC3 (it wasjust abit dull), but AC4 is one of the most fun games I've played in years and the mission variety is actually quite good.
You seem to be ignoring enemy forts, enemy bases, crafting, hunting, ship battles, the economy, deep sea diving, exploration, etc. The story is also engaging enough for what it was. Begrudging it for being a...
cannon8800,
I wouldn't agree with all Nintendo fans being kind and peaceful in comparison to other groups of gamers. I got these messages from C_Ali88 when I disagreed with that ''AC in every incarnation sucks ass'' and that AC4 was ''total shit'' (he was getting mad about Ubisoft's recent comments about Nintendo gamers, and went on a crusade, saying all of their products are crap).
He harassed me with loads of message...
