His answer was very poor considering the development issues Infinite has had (it didn't project confidence) but to be fair ... he was basically being asked if the Halo franchise will die if this game isn't good. There's no way he could say "Yep" that.
I still can't believe they delayed the game a whole year after seeing people's reactions to the graphics.
Yeah, but on the bright side, at least you'll have some good stuff to look forward to. Make sure to add it to your library on the web version of the Store so you'll have it to play when you're able to grab a PS5.
Will definitely try out the zombies mode in this one with my siblings since we played the crap out of BO3 zombies. The Chronicles DLC had so many zombies maps at the time and was such good value that that we just never bothered with BO4.
Remedy would be cool as well.
It was rated by the ESRB a few months ago for the PS4 as well. Been waiting a while to play this one.
At least the creator was able to backup the files.
It's nice to see that there is actually a lot of nuance in this comment section. On political stories like this, people usually just make their mind up from the headline and don't even bother opening the link.
The headline being somewhat vague might have actually forced people to open the link and properly think about the story..
Is this a fake comment? I know it's probably just mistake, and there can be subtle racism in media, but it kind of makes a mockery of people criticising real racial issues.
Hot Pursuit is such a good game. The default setting in Hot Pursuit Remastered is 30fps so make sure to go into the settings and change it to "Maximum" (max visuals and 60fps) if you have a Series X.
Same. It would be pretty bad if there wasn't at least some form of upgrade path.
My dishwasher is better though 😎
I have to agree that the bickering is annoying though but at least the analysis here was useful. There's no reason that 4A can't iron out the minor framerate issues on the Series X.
Btw, it's not just a patch. Just like PC, the Enhanced Edition is a separate port of the game. It just doesn't take advantage of the new APIs to make full use of the SSDs.
Will probably be revealed within the next few weeks.
It doesn't seem like Horizon: Zero Dawn will ever be 60fps on PS5 because of the way animations were handled (the grass in the PC version is still 30fps to this day I think).
😞
"people are going to be p*ssed"
It was just a prediction, Orchard. Don't get too excited.
The Medium's early September release date on PS5 makes it likely to be that month's PS Plus game as well.
Might not happen but that's my prediction anyway.
The PS2 outsold the GameCube 7:1, and a newcomer (Xbox) also managed to outsell the GC by a few million units. It only sold around 20m units which was just 1/3 of NES sales. The N64 faired quite a bit better but getting outsold 3:1 by a newcomer (PlayStation) was still a poor result. They also sold terribly in Europe (the PS2 outsold the GC 12:1 there).
I live in Ireland and I remember being confused as a child when I discovered that the GameCube even existed. It was only a...
The PS5 having a better framerate and the Series X having a better resolution has been such a common theme so far for this generation.
Are MS telling developers to push the resolution as high as possible or what? I think most Xbox players would much prefer a reduction in resolution to get iron out framerate issues.
To be fair, there are big issues with the Series S version. It can spend a lot of time around 512p in combat. C'mon. You will notice a next gen console dropping down to a resolution lower than the last few generations of consoles and the Switch (docked).
The issue with the Series S as a machine is that it was built with incorrect (very idealistic) assumptions about how developers were going to tackle resolution, framerate and ray tracing.
This is the first great lineup for PS Now in a long while. More games are being added than usual as well which seems like an increased commitment to the service.
Given that this improved lineup is dropping in July (the month that they're likely going to give us some big announcements), it makes you wonder what's around the corner. They will need to add PS5 games at some point, even just to compete with themselves (PS Plus).
