Will definitely be buying this. It's cool that all of us gamers get to play it pretty much regardless of the platform (e.g. even PC fans - PC typically gets ignored for these kind of games). It's great to see that indie games are finally starting to break into 3D games en masse as well, so we can see their unique ideas and games there too, rather than being confined to 2D most of the time. Personally, I'm fine with the delay. Delays make perfect (well, in recent years anyway). lol...
Destructible pitches and crowds incoming.
This is actually a really good sale. I think I'll be buying the Nathan Drake Collection and Just Cause 3 XL Editon (maybe Sniper Elite 3 as well).
Yeah. Just a thought, but imagine they could have that excellent gameplay, but in an OlliOlli 3D game (if they *really* want to do something new for the series). I'm starved for skateboarding games.
I really hope they put this game up as a PS2 Classic on PS4.
Mostly good games, and very good sales (all things considered), but its kind of amusing that pretty much all of these games have Mario in the title. We always get told that other kinds of gamers only buy shooters (and apparently, they're chavs), but Nintendo gamers buy a variety and are somehow different.. Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bayonetta, Pokken tournament, Fatal Frame, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Hyrule warriors, etc couldn't outsell Mario Party 10, or break into the top 10..
Really fun.
Cool game. Bought it last week cause I liked Olli Olli, and it seemed sort of like Hotline Miami. Very fun and occasionally quite funny too.
It really does look like a free-to-play.game.
@CorndogBurglar
I understand what you are saying. Hmm. Maybe I need to explain this a different way. Basically, I feel like trophies (or at least some) should be created with cheats in mind. Trophies shouldn't always make the player feel that they shouldn't be using cheats. Whenever you activate cheats in modern games, they give you a stern warning, deactivate trophies, turn off autosave, and just kind of make them feel like a hassle to use. "Can't get any ...
Much prefer the original to be honest. They messed too much with the colours and the distinct style of the game. That being said, its not atrocious or anything.
Definitely! Games really need to stop disabling trophies when using cheats, or come up with a new solution. It always persuades me in a lot of games to not even use them, which is terrible. It's not like these GTA games are easier than other games in terms of trophies either.
Mostly a PlayStation guy myself these days, but honestly guys, why are some people even arguing against backwards compatibility? Put the console allegiances aside. It's a great feature. I recently bought the GTA Trilogy and Bully off of PSN, and I'd love to be able to do that kind of stuff with PS3 games like Red Dead Redemption and A Crack In Time. Microsoft has a cool feature here. Maybe the feature doesn't personally matter to you, but give props where they are due.
@JustInTime
They are the same studio, but not the same developers. The Developers that made COD1, COD2, MW1, and MW2, went on to make Titanfall.
It looks like it could be fun. The whole Battlefield Vs CoD thing has just gotten so old at this stage (it's ike Skate vs. Tony Hawk). I'm not sure about this CoD, cause the developers made Ghosts, but we'll see. If the space stuff is fairly well fleshed out, and its fun, I'll just ignore the hordes of hipsters.
@TheOneWhoIsTornApart
Yes, I have heard a lot of Carpenter Brut actually. I like Escape from Midwich Valley a lot. Carpenter has one of the most iconic songs from Hotline Miami 2 as well - Roller Mobster.
Yes! Perturbator was a gateway drug for me into listening to so much of this kind of music. Power Glove, Dynatron, and Mega Drive are really good too.
This is probably my favorite song from Perturbator - or at least the one I've been addicted to for the last while: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Will definitely have a listen. Hotline Miami introduced me to Perturbator (Hotline Miami really knew how good Perturbator is - it actually talked about on the radio in HM2), and I'd love to listen to more of it.
@wonderfulmonkeyman
You're responding irrationally, and are almost entirely ignoring what I actually said.
"It's probably because Nintendo has little else of consequence scheduled for this year (or the very least, presented to the public)". I was clearly accounting for the fact that they still could have some good games for the rest of they year, but that I felt that that would be very unlikely, considering that Nintendo has clearly shifted their...
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I'd say somewhere between 20-40, although likely on the higher end. Regardless, I'll have no problem supporting it. There's a lot of genres from the PS1/N64 and PS2/GC days that are currently poorly represented and indie games might be the only way to really bring them back. Hopefully consumer support for games like this, and R & C can show that there's a market to be served.
