I don't think I'm going to buy this unless there's a guarantee that there won't be another awful exclusivity deal for a potential sequel.
Destroy All Humans 1 + 2 are some of the most fun games you can play, and they a really distinct sense of humour as well. I would definitely love another [good] one.
People need to buy Dangerous Golf to support them. It's a lot of fun.
If this is true, it seems they're doubling down on the Blue Ocean Strategy, and unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be very under-powered again. From looking around at the comments (Eurogamer), it's pretty apparent that this is really not what many core gamers want, but maybe it will appeal to casuals and turn out well.
It may have more appeal than the Wii U, but that will be dependent on it having a low price. If it doesn't cost TOO much more than th...
Considering the update apparently fixed everything wrong with this game, I'm going to support them and buy it. But seriously guys, don't put out your games until they're finished. With a far higher Metacritic and general reviews, it would have done better.
I recently picked up both Darksiders 1 + 2 for my PS3, so I'm going to have to pass. I'd definitely buy a 3rd installment, but if it's production is contingent on the sales of this remaster (especially considering the second game was barely remastered, from what I've heard), that kind of sucks.
There's some very good footage of the KindaFunny guys playing this, and it looks like a lot of fun.
Seriously, the people who have huge problems with remasters are just being hyperbolic. Every generation, especially the last one, has had TONS of remastered games. And the studios that make these games, like Bluepoint, are specifically designed to reverse-engineer old games. No less new IPs are being created as a result of this. It's literally just an option. More jobs; more available games.
People need to focus on tackling real problems in games, like micro-transaction...
Looks pretty great. I told people they were being silly, or at the very least, melodramatic.
The framerate in Just Cause 3 really is atrocious. Considering some of us have paid money for the DLC, and the last chunk of DLC is still to be released, it would be the decent thing to do (and ... some of us won't buy any more games from them otherwise) - especially since the last patch worsened the framerate.
I think it would be cool if they tried to diversify the genres by throwing in Ratchet & Clank, but maybe that will be put in a more "E for Everyone" sort of bundle.
It's obviously not. Amy Hennig's departure always irked me, because she was a lot of the heart and soul of the company. Uncharted 4 was very good, but I'm kind of worried.
Saying that a PC itself costs less than a console, ".... If you build it" has always been a bit of a cop–out. You can easily make the point that it's cheaper in other ways, which makes the dishonesty even more silly. I can't believe someone has already used the word "peasant" in the comments section.
I really hope this signals the release of loads of EA games, along with other third parties. This might be a litmus test to see whether its worth it to go the extra mile for games with licencing issues.
Black is itself, a really fun game though; it's a Criterion game - how could it not have turned out fun? Sony themselves need to put up Downhill Domination.
That's a very convincing recommendation. I'm in college right now (on holidays) and have a few controllers, so I think this game will go down fairly well - we spend a lot of our time playing Rocket League. I'm looking forward to Gang Beasts as well, especially considering the new build has soccer in it.
I'm pretty interested in this game. It just looks like simple fun.
"just generic cover shooting". Eh, I'd question whether you've ever played an Uncharted game. Uncharted games have cover shooting (with an option for blind-fire), platforming, puzzles, stealth, crazy huge set-pieces, chase levels, vehicle segments and you don't even always need to take cover - you can blind-fire (really fun with secondary weapons), not take cover and even brawl with the enemies, along with using cool new additions like the whip. Nathan Drake is very agil...
It still is. A good story or high level of presentation does not negate the gameplay in a game. It's no coincidence that these articles are being pushed out so much right now. Certain "gamers" want to attack Uncharted 4 because they know it's a game-of-the-year contender, and well, they're fanboys. Regardless, Uncharted 4 has great, fluid, fun gameplay.
"Nah, it's a movie." This kind of narrative has been pushed by people ever since MGS1....
I LOVED the multiplayer in this game. It was just plain fun. I think the concept worked out better than GTAO when it came to the basics. Playing the game was a simpler affair, because GTAO lobbies are a mess, and going around the open world felt far closer to the single-player experience.
I really should pick this game up. You've got to respect Codemasters for finally making a pure rally game like they used to.
