If someone wanted to argue that 2017 was Sony's best year, it would be pretty hard to argue. I cannot believe the quality, depth and variety of games I have played on PS4 this year. As nobody else has mentioned it yet, just want to give a shout out to Wipeout.....god almighty it's good on PS4!
I am delighted with this news personally. As a long standing PlayStation fan, I want to see Sony to succeed because it pays dividends for me as a consumer. Their success means they will generally get more deals on exclusive titles, timed or otherwise due to their larger consumer base and they will be more inclined to continue on this path of investing in their studios to satisfy demand from an ever expanding audience.
Wanting Sony to succeed isn't some weird, unexplai...
😂 how are people not picking up on the sarcasm? My sarcastic meter went off the scale 😃
A propaganda 'champagne' would have a title like ' The PS4 is the best console in the world...' or 'here are 29 games that make the PS4 better than XBOX'.
This isn't the case here, it's a factually correct and demonstrable title, there is no exaggeration here, nothing speculative.
Still utterly desperate to compare against the Switch version of a game, pathetic!
I know the Xbox crowd are desperate to justify the existence of the XB1X, but comparing the console to the Switch is a pretty desperate way of doing it.
The XB1X is a brand new console with brand new technology (in my opinion it is a new gen console rather than a mid gen console), of course it will have better visuals....whoever wrote this piece is a bit of a cretin, simply searching for hits.
Nier Automata, NIOH, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon, Persona 5, Yakuza, Everbodys Golf, Wipeout, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Danganrompa, Gran Turismo, Zelda BOTW, MarioKart, Splatoon and Mario were all incredible this year and fully justified owning my systems of choice.
My hidden gem this year was Shadow Tactics on console, I never got around to playing in on PC and was amazed at how well it ported over to the consoles, the controls were really well designed I felt.
Same combo here, along with a PC for my strategy games. The Switch is a very recent addition and I have to say, I am well impressed with it, Mario is just as good as the reviews suggest. I think Horizon gets the nod for my game of the year though, 2017 been pretty incredible for games, Sony and Nintendo really have knocked it out of the park as far as exclusives are concerned.
@chiefJohn
I am not about to waste my time googling PS3 exclusives, but I know that even as things slowed down for PS3 I was playing games like God of War Ascension, Nino Kuni, Last of Us, the criminally overlooked Puppeteer and Gran Turismo 6....there were so many great games on PS3, I have recently packed it away with the games so I cannot easily jog my memory I am afraid.
Why would I be happy about them releasing games to a platform I already owned AFTER they ha...
If MS insist on making these comments to the gaming community then it is fair for that same community to expect some facts to back them up, especially given MS proclivity towards lying.
You either want to inform the community about how your are performing or you don't, this middle ground of giving out this kind of statement is not good enough. Put up or shut up.
Yup, I upgraded from my beloved C64 to the Amiga. I wish to God I still had my Amiga and the hundreds of games I had with it. To this day I love a good side scrolling shooter or platformer, Amiga was great for that genre.
My 1st girlfriend bought me Cannon Fodder, Frontier: Elite and Premiere Manager for our 1st Christmas together.....I knew then she was a keeper! We have been together for 25 years now and celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last month 😁
Yeah, Black Flag is pretty epic.....get to play as Welshman too which is always a good thing 😃
I am a little frustrated that they add this kind of content so long after release as I have already Platinum-ed the game and would have liked these features when I was playing it. Makes me wonder if I should just wait a few months before buying games in future.
If you are looking for value for money you can't go wrong, the game is huge!
I am a Creed fan anyway so take my opinion with a pinch of salt, but I thought it was a fantastic game, probably the best A.C. game I have played in fact.
Not sure how long I played it, but long enough to get the Platinum so a good 50 hours I bet. I had no technical issues at all, in fact, I was constantly amazed by how good looking the game was and how well it ran (playing on PS4 Pro)
You convince them in the same way you would convince them when you want any other consumer goods.
I remember when my parents picked me up my Commodore Amiga, I couldnt believe my year long campaign of hint dropping had paid off! Incredible, still my favourite games machine to this day.
So Septic, justify to me why it's okay, in this day and age, to refer to homosexuality when making a negative statement.
How about my consumer experience.
Buy a 360 and have to return it to Woolworths as it started scratching my GoW disc after just 3 days. Over the course of the next 3 years I then have to replace my 360 a further 4 times and it eventually leaks that they were warned of these design defects by the manufacturers before launch.
3 years before the end of the 360's life, MS pretty much drop all support of 1st party titles with the exception of more Gears, ...
What utter nonsense, honestly, this site is an absolute joke, talk about reaching to find criticisms!
I like Tenchu as much as the next guy, but if thus isn't Bloodborne I will be supremely pissed off 😁
