Microsoft's reputation was in the gutter long before they got into the console business. I am not going to go into it in detail here, but if you look at their track record in respect of anti-trust shenanigans over the decades, there corporate behaviour is utterly disgusting.
They have applied the same ruthless approach to the console market, that is why they are disliked around the globe.
As I see it, investment in studios is putting your money where...
Also, the UK limited edition will probably be scarce so you might want to snag it while the getting is good if you are based in the UK.
I just pre ordered a copy but may cancel nearer the time if, come review time, it is no better than the WiiU versions which I already have.
I was thinking the same thing however, I just took a look, it is not available anywhere, sold out across the board - everyone has sold their allotments by the looks. A couple of scalper scumbags have copies on Ebay for 160 - 200 quid 😨
If you take a look at the article it is utter bunk. Almost every game on that PC list is available on console, how does this bull get approved?
That is an outright lie squire, I buy maybe 3 or 4 games a month, almost every one of them has been enhanced to some degree, it's just another lie perpetuated by MS and media like Gamingbolt and Forbes, who are in MS's pocket.
By way of an example, I picked up a few bargains in December, all were enhanced; SouthPark, Prey, OkamiHD, LA Noir and Wolfenstein 2 all enjoy enhancements.
Agreed, very nice art style and design, that 'ridged' armour, particularly in the helmet, just screams souls to me now. Would buy a full remaster of this game immediately given the chance.
@kevnb
Actually squire, its perfectly possible to remaster a game, its merely a matter of interpretation of the word. I would suggest that a remaster involving remaking the game using a modern engine, in this instance, the Dark Souls 3 engine for example, would be a fine remaster indeed.
Crash Bandicoot and the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus are perfect examples of remasters where Sony did deliver for the gamer and did not, as you claim, upscaling the resolution ...
Agreed, a remaster using the DS3 engine would be incredible I think.
If you want to discuss the point I made, by all means offer a counter instead of this moronic statement. I am confident that I could hold my own in a debate against you despite your claims that I have "no brains".
To all you people that think I am upset about a PS3 game being slighted in some way, I couldn't care in the slightest about the PS3 version of a game looking worse, that's the whole point of my original comment, its utterly pointless.
If the articles author simply intended to demonstrate how good the PC version looks then, as a PC gamer myself, I can get on board with that had he written such a piece. Instead, he offers a comparison to a version of the game that lo...
What an absolutely pointless comparison!!!
In my opinion, exclusives are a key factor in building success and momentum in respect of sales.
First things first, you get the core gamer on board, you do this with exclusives and the guarantee of more exclusives to come. This early success with the core gaming community builds a buzz within the games industry, whether it is on gaming websites, amongst retailers or even mainstream news/media. Then you factor in word of mouth between these core gamers and their family an...
If you want to respond to me like an adult instead of a cretin I will be glad to discuss the points I raised otherwise, I'll just ignore your comments.
I use my Switch exclusively on my TV, like you, i would love to see the day when Ninty just make a console that can compete with Playstation.
Pathetic, childish, flamebait article. The idea of stating something 'won' if you are an aspiring writer is just desperate, by all means offer reasons for why Nintendo were so successful in 2017, but to state that Nintendo won based on your own opinion is naive in the extreme.
The only metrics you can use that are based on fact would be sales figures, anything else is wholly subjective.
This is from someone who loves his Switch and is a WiiU apol...
Play Nioh as soon as you can, seriously, its incredible!.
Regarding the pop up ads, its enough to make me switch off, in fact I have been doing just that. I use a tablet and the 'x' in the corner refuses to register my click to close the ad.
Nioh's combat is much deeper than Nier in my opinion. I love Nier, however, you can mash through that game if you choose too, Nioh requires so much more precision and skill in comparison.
There is just no talking to people like Pants or Wobbly, they are unable to be reasoned with or see the whole picture due to their ferocious desire to seek validation for purchasing their console of choice.
Trouble is, stupid people don't know they are stupid. It is MS who need to step up and challenge Ninty and Sony, not the other way around.
If you want to talk sales, not that means anything at all by the way, try comparing the likes of Forza 7 to GT, how about Sunset Overdrive or Quantum Break, those games tanked hard.
Games sales don't mean a thing, although annecdotal, I have three PS4's in my household yet I only buy 1 copy of each game I purchase, I am sure I am not the only household with multiple PS4's.
Forza sees diminishing returns year on year, in my opinion, because outside of a minority of hard-core fans, people see a release of a title with much the same content and a few incremental improvements, it is just hard to justify a purchase.
Microsoft need to realise that Forza isn't FIFA or Madden, while those games only offer incremental improvements over the previous release, the fans are happy to pay for the licences, people pay because they want up to date teams. ...
