Micro transactions incoming!!! Such a shame to see such a great team struggle. I don't understand how Alan Wake 2 didn't do gangbusters. Game was absolutely fantastic.
I really hope this move doesn't lead us down a path of less risks in the tonality of their titles. It's their quirkiness that I really love.
Hate to see talented creative folk out of a job, but the more this kind of outcome occurs, the less executives will chase these live service games. Honestly, live service is soooo oversaturated. It's also clear that even if you produce a decent game, it's still requires a good amount of luck to capture the kind of interest that pays dividends in the end.
Pretty much, first time I have come here in ages. Site just felt toxic as shit.
Ain't it just! Quite surprised as Air Riders seems to have reviewed reasonably well.
Christ on a bike, you really did name yourself appropriately didn't ya!!!
The rest of the world thinks you are a laughing stock squire and none of us want a raging rapist and paedophile as their president or Prime Minister.
Personally, Death Stranding 2 would be my pick. I appreciate the technical presentation of AC Shadows however, a big factor for me in a games graphical appeal is the art design and in this respect, nothing comes close to DS2.
It was specifically the Switch 2 version squire, which is apparently very impressive given the system it is running on.
How often are we going to give MS a pass like this, ahead of every new year we get these 'next year is a defining year for Xbox' type story. They have fucked up everything for the last 15 years, how are folks honestly still giving them any benefit of the doubt.
Modern Resi games in particular have been pretty incredible, amazing how consistent the quality has been since Resi 7 really.
Coincidentally, I finished my play through and got the platinum trophy last night in Wake 2. Personally, I thought it was a fantastic game. Spooky at times, made me jump a bunch of times, intriguing story and such a weird but fun sense of humour. I loved it, among my favourite games I have played this year.
Great choice squire, Death Stranding 2 just edges it for me.
Saw it on sale over the weekend and nearly pulled the trigger on it. Managed to resist temptation though as my backlog already stretches back to around 40 titles sat on the shelf, but it was a close run thing. Currently playing Alan Wake 2 and absolutely loving it and it does make me appreciate 3rd person games all the more.
Good to see Xenoblade Definitive Edition got patched, hopefully we see the rest of the series get an upgrade too.
About an hour away from a platinum in Ghost of Yotei squire, what are you rabbiting on about?
Austin Wintory seems like a top fella, so talented too in my view.

Interesting, thanks for the comments squire. I am okay at action games, I have plats in Bloodborne and Sekiro but pperhaps I'll hope for a demo to be released before jumping in. Have great day chief
Never played a Ninja Gaiden game but am quite keen to try. I adore the Nioh games and whilst I found the combat challenging, I did complete both games and their DLC so I think I could manage the difficulty of this game.
Well deserved, I am around 30 hours in and still utterly engrossed. Just taking my time exploring every nook and cranny and systematically crossing off every location and mission. What a chuffing game, incredible!!
I disagree, I guarantee that there is plenty of talent at that studio, it will be executive and leadership decisions that ultimately dictate the direction of a games development.
