I'll take the console that give me access to Bloodborne and Uncharted and has devs like, among others, Studio Japan, Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog.
For that matter, I choose Switch over MS because I want to play Mario and Zelda, games which demonstrate that graphical fidelity will always play second fiddle to great game design.
You are exactly what is wrong with the N4G forums, somehow asserting that you are a real gamer because you own all the consoles while others who make different choices for different reasons are somehow lesser.
If I choose to have a PS4Pro, Switch, WiiU, PS3 and PC plugged into my TV , are you suggesting I am not a gamer because I refuse to reward MS for their shit business practices by buying another 450 quid console? You are a right whopper aincha?!
Utter bollocks chief, if you honestly expect people to believe you had no interest in the likes of NIOH, Nier, Crash, Wipe out, Gravity Rush2, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Last of Us Remastered, Until Dawn, Infamous, Bloodborne, Odinshere, Danganrompa, Persona 5, Driver, LittleBig Planet 3, Yakuza, The Last Guardian, The Order and not to mention the countless Indies then you are kidding yourself.
I will just come out and say it, you are plain lyin...
Except that I got to play Horizon, Uncharted 4, The Last of Us Remastered, Nioh, Ratchet and Clank, Persona 5, Nier, Crash Bandicoot, Gravity Rush 2 etc which are exclusive and enjoyed enhancements for the Pro.....yeah, other than that you raise a good point.
They look even better on PC.....not exclusive chief.
Got some more utter bullshit for us to listen too Phil, you lying anus. It's honestly insulting that he expects me to believe a word out of his cakehole.
I bought an XB1 because of his lies three E3's ago and since then he has gone back on every promise. Instead of quadrupling the power of my XB1 with cloud computing he is asking me to buy another console instead. Instead of deliver amazing exclusives, he moved the few they had to a format I already owned making ...
I am playing Creed on my Pro right now and I have not had a single stutter, the game is breathtaking to look at, my point is, despite it looking better on pc or Xbox1X, it still looks and plays fantastically well on PS4Pro.
The argument about which version looks better is moot, clearly 1X versions of games are going to look better that PS4 but it will not matter to PlayStation gamers because the version they are playing still looks fantastic.
Squire, I am not downplaying the importance of graphical fidelity, after all, I upgraded to my Pro on day one and I am looking to upgrade my PC this year.
I am also not saying that the Xbox1X isn't an impressive bit of kit, my point is that gamers don't tend to have systems running side by side for comparison and that it will not matter one iota to a PlayStation gamer how a game performs on Xbox because they look great on PS4 too.
It is spelt 'whether' chief, and you realise you sound like a pathetic 10 year old, right?
Whether Xbox fans like it or not, the fact is that outside of a side by side comparison, the game still looks spectacular on PS4.
I finished it a few days ago and the whole time I was amazed by it's visuals and this is the crux of the matter that the likes of Digital Foundry don't want to acknowledge because their whole business relies completely on finding and exaggerating the importance of these differences.
Before these mid gen consoles, was an...
That statement all but confirms to me that MS have no intention of supporting the gaming industry by investing in new games, they just want to get as much profit as possible from everyone else's innovation, creativity and love of the medium.
Quite how Xbox fans can watch Nintendo and PlayStation craft amazing, creative, exciting and fun games for their user base and happily accept this piss poor performance from MS is frankly baffling to me.
Really under appreciated game in my opinion, I loved it. I can accept there were flaws, the gameplay was a little uninspired for example however, I loved the characters, adored the lore and couldnt get enough of the universe the devs created.
There really is so much potential for a sequel I feel, and with characters as cool as Percival and LaFeyette how could it not be a success?
I played Galaxy very recently and I have to say that, in my opinion, there are very few games that can hold up as well at 10 years old. It's an incredible game and what is even more impressive is that I am playing MG2 at the moment and it is even better. Nothing quite like a Mario game for me, they are utterly magical.
I recently called my provider with a query and they mentioned how much I had used my broadband last month....1700Gb! There are 4 of us using it for Netflix (in 4k), YouTube, gaming etc so I knew it takes a hiding but It's surprising how much data we burned through.
I feel like anything other than being completely sold out in the US, with people being turned away from stores is actually disappointing. The marketing behind it and the stories from MS stating their pre orders are sold out suggested these things were going to be like gold dust.
Digital Foundry have justified their whole existence by sewing discord amongst an already divided gaming community by exaggerating their results, they have been doing it for years. The fact that they have to freezeframe and then zoom in so much with each comparison to try and establish differences just demonstrates how exagerated there results really are.
They used to review graphics cards and processors but take a guess at what brings in the views even more reliably, tha...
Microsoft apologists justifying anything negative.....colour me surprised!
More utter bullshit from the MS leadership, I am still waiting for the power on my XB1 to be quadrupled through the implementation of the cloud like they promised.
Honestly, the more I hear references of 'the beast' the more pathetic I realise large swathes of this community are.
It looks like a tremendous piece of kit to me, inside and out.
The big issue is that no matter how good games look on the X, they also look fantastic on PRO too. No matter what Digital Foundry would have you believe, games look also look fantastic on the Pro, I just finished Wolfenstein 2 and I am currently playing Assassins Creed and the whole time I couldnt believe how great they looked.
And therein lies the problem for MS, the console is fabulous but ...
