I just dont understand how a site that claims to be enthusiastic about video games can come up with utter dogshit articles like this.

They will have seen the same reveal and the subsequent trailers as the rest of us, in my opinion, Santa Monica have released enough info to keep interest high without over exposing the game and from everything that has been seen the game looks stellar.

How do sites like this not realise that this kind of flamebait article d...

Not to turn this into a negative story, because it is a very interesting move by MS, but it's easy to state that you will be giving access to first party titles when you only publish two or three a year and the sales for those titles is on a downward trend.

I can understand it if you have issues with him under-delivering with his recent games, but to attack him because of how he speaks is hard to understand. Don't come to England because there are millions of people who sound just like him (Not me, I have a cracking Welsh accent, think Drippy from Nino Kuni!).

I never got to play this originally so I am excited to have the opportunity to plug what I consider to be a big gap in my gaming métier.

Well here in the UK, it's widely understood that used in this context, the word 'outrageous' would serve a laudatory function.

You can track all the comments from MS over the last 6 years and it is clear they knew how important 1st party was to the success of a platform, they just decided they didn't want to invest and instead, gave us one lie after another as to how committed they were to exclusives. It's just reached the point that they cannot fool enough of their fans any longer.

I dont think he is naive at all, he is spot on, elements within the industry are pushing the boundaries of acceptability with regards to exploiting the consumer.

I fear you are quite mixed up if you believe someone's personal wealth is a determining factor on an individuals worth; I wont say 'real man' because that just sounds really, really pathetic!

Great article, I agree 100 percent with it. The biggest thrill in Dark Souls is when you find a shortcut and that sense of relief when you realise that death is slighlty less inconvenient because you can get back to your souls more directly.

God I cannot wait to play this again!

It's easy to blame consumers for overlooking the likes of Prey, but Bethesda ultimately are to blame in my opinion.

The devs upheld their end of the deal by making a cracking game but Bethesda decide to release it at a poor time and spend nothing on promoting it. Outside of gamers who spend the time on sites like this, most people probably have no idea Prey exists.

I am chomping at the bit to get my hands dirty with DS1 again, I have played every 'Soul's game and find them so satisfying to play and complete.

I would love to see a remaster of Demons Souls too, I haven't played that game for so long, I actually imported this game from Hong Kong several months before it was released in the West.

Cheap price, lots of buzz and not a lot else new to play. All of this on top of the game being fun, doesn't take a genius to work out why it's doing well.

"The women in my life are much tougher than you apparently. No disrespect".

'Toughness doesn't enter into the equation squire, it's about common decency, it's about treating everyone I interact with, with respect. Moreover, it doesn't matter how tough you might perceive the females in your life to be, a constant environment where they are unhappy will grind them down eventually, no matter how strong they are.

Exactly, it's funny how when you hear this kind of comment it will be from a male, usually the perpetrators of that kind of innapropriate behaviour.

Simply ask yourself, how would you feel about me making sexual references or coarse language around your mother, sister or significant other?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with respecting other people's feelings. If someone doesn't like your behaviour then you are the one at fault, not the pe...

So as long as your feelings and opinions are accounted for then it's not a toxic environment?

Personally, I have a wife and a teenage daughter, if people behave in a way that made them uncomfortable at work then I would be pretty unhappy about it and that rationale dictates how I behave in work. I treat people with respect and tailor my behaviour according to my surroundings.

If I am with the boys at lunch I know where the baseline for acceptable lan...

True that, you don't need an industry analyst to tell you that the only competition they face comes from Japan and they're called Nintendo. Xbox is done outside of the US and will likely finish 3rd to Sony and Nintendo by the end of the generation in the US too.

And with just one article, Link-cable.com demonstrate they have no clue about the gaming industry. Well that's one way to make sure nobody listens to your opinion, honestly, are they morons?

This is spot on chief, and Ninty are reinforcing that message with the strength of the Switch's popularity. Resolution is great, but it's isn't the determining factor for most gamers, good game design, interesting gameplay and solid art direction are all far more important to a games quality than technical prowess.

3092d ago 4 agree6 disagreeView comment

You really do have to wonder why people leave to work for the likes of Electronic Arts or Activision, they hardly have a good reputation as far as trusting devs to decide what's best for their games.

I just don't understand the negativity surrounding this game from some quarters, everything I have seen so far looked tremendous with really high production values.

I get that the more childish sections of the MS community will be down on it as it's a Sony exclusive but it seems to me that there are a lot of armchair quarterbacks who think they know better than the devs, devs I should point out, who have a very good pedigree. Let the game do the talking when it is...
