Even if you knock off a few of the titles that aren't confirmed, the list of exclusive games is incredible. I cannot believe how many games are due out this year, never been a better time to be a PlayStation fan as far as I am concerned.
While sections of the Xbox community would have you believe that market penetration for the brand the Japan doesn't matter, this is a clear demonstration of why success in Japan IS VERY important. As a result of MS selling no consoles in this region, Sony get to benefit from the Japanese games industry while Xbox doesn't, and as a result the amount of software from Japan is exclusive to Sony by default.
I am just excited to have an excuse to revisit my favourite series of games. While the idea of a 'remake' using the DS3 engine is a dream, I will settle for an upscaled and tweaked version of the original for sure.
As a result of this re-release I have already planned to play through all 3 again, cannot wait!
I don't get the impression he was making a statement about why they don't try and implement 4K or VR on Switch, he was simply explaining why the went down the hybrid route with Switch INSTEAD OF creating a 4K/VR capable console.
I am not going to lie, the idea of a 4K version of Mario Odyssey or Zelda sounds awesome but, as long as the games are as well designed and the art style so strong as they have been so far, the Switch's games are not hindered by the lack of resolution in the slightest.
Turns out good games are good, regardless or resolution......who knew?
Agreed, between my Pro and my Switch I have been utterly spoiled for choice, I literally cannot keep up with the games.
You know what, denial isn't just a river in Egypt pal.
Cannot bear Greenberg, the guy is so full of shit, how he has kept his job is beyond me.
Funny how we haven't heard a peep out of him for 12 months, and that they no longer comment on sales figures.......unless it suits their need to take a side swipe at the competition.
I suspect that will cost mega bucks but boy is it a thing of beauty. I wonder if it will have English translations if we were to import It?
While I am not interested in the game (I am not a multiplayer gamer), I have to say, this controller looks flipping awesome, I would pick that up in a heartbeat given the chance.
Loved this back in the day, probably my most fondly remembered racing game (Project Gotham Racing 3 is a close second though). Will be picking this up for sure as there is a real lack of quality arcade racers at the moment, it will slot in nicely with a spot of MarioKart 8 and Wipeout.
Nice article, good to see positive attitudes and content passing through N4G instead of the usual flaimbait stuff.
Really excited for Fe already but this article has brought quite a few games to my attention that I was unaware of, some very cool games to look forward to indeed.
Excited to pop my Monster Hunter cherry, the game looks great. I am not much of a multiplayer gamer but I might just talk my buddies into picking it up too
Why is everything reduced to a competition for gods sake?!
Nintendo make great games, Sony make great games, no one publisher has a monopoly of great games, single player or otherwise. Nintendo have less of a track record in respect of online multiplayer but that is simply down to their backwards thinking in respect of Online support, but with games like Splatoon, they have demonstrated they are making great strides to catch up.

No question that sites like Gamingbolt and Forbes are a negative force in respect of gaming media. Their bashing of anything PlayStation is widely known but another unfortunate side effect of this behaviour is that it throws the legitimacy of many other smaller sites into question too.
Regardless, if Spiderman turns out to play as well as it looks, no amount of negativity from these handful of questionable sites will impact the overall media frenzy and excitement surroundi...
As pointed out above, these comments sound like the ramblings of someone who is hyper sensitive about any slight against MS.
Digital Foundry are not my cup of tea, if you want to suggest their agenda is to generate traffic by overstating the relevance of the differences between platforms I can totally get on board with you. However, they definitely are not biased against MS, MS released details of the XB1X through Digital Foundry who were extremely complimentary about the ...
It's not 'more and more', DF moved far away from their roots of reviewing PC components a long time ago. Instead, they rely almost completely on comparison videos.
It's funny to see MS fanatics claiming they are biased, last generation there were no such complaints but this generation, while MS were losing out, they are biased.
I un-subscribed from DF's YouTube channel a long time ago because it became clear to me that their agenda wa...
You sound ridiculous squire, they have generally been very complimentary about XB1X and Microsoft themselves chose to reveal the consoles capabilities through Digital Foundry. Are you honestly suggesting MS would fly Digital Foundry out to Redmond and exclusively reveal the capability of the console through them if they were biased against MS.
Why anyone would get into bed with MS is beyond me. Look at the track record of titles that signed up for timed exclusives on the Xbox, they fail to impress on the console and then, by the time the game hits the rival platforms all the buzz and excitement has long passed and people have moved on to bigger and brighter things.
Given MS's weak position in respect of market share, why would anyone choose to release a game they are passionate about, that they care about, t...
Agreed, Nintendo might be able to swing odd exclusive characters or costumes for first party games but this is a 3rd party title where lore is everything. I would be very surprised to find a link costume shoehorned into such a lore heavy game, personally, as a Dark Souls fan I hope they don't either.
