Just finished my second playthrough--went evil this time instead of good. Will play again for the Plat trophy. Great game.

Dude, did you read it? This might be the best article I've seen about Demon's Souls--it's certainly the best-written. The guy absolutely loves Demon's Souls and the article is like an ode to his love. It borders on corny, but it's still very well done.

No doubt. From these screenshots, Cho Aniki was at its "manliest" in 2D. Still, "man protein" and bosses with giant outies? You gotta give them credit for enthusiasm and sense of humor.

I agree, but I can't figure out why. R2 looked better, had a more detailed story, and was just all around slicker. Yet I liked the first one better. Strange.

I have bought THREE games this October--Demon's Souls, UC2, and NGS2, and I've still got R&C before November. I'm actually glad some of the other titles I want got pushed into 2010. :)
Ah. Apparently I HAVE seen a PS3 Slim at my local Best Buy. My bad, random disagree person. *eyeroll*
I literally have not seen a PS3 Slim on the shelf at my local Best Buy since launch. However, they are having a hard time selling the Geek Squad PS3 they modded with a 500GB HDD, for which they are charging $500 lol.

My local Gamestop got six copies of the regular version, and I bought the very last one at 1:30pm on launch day. Glad I did, too. The game is fantastic.
Why are so many people talking about Demon's Souls? Obviously it's games like that we DON'T need. And no more Valkyria Chronicles or Brutal Legend or Little Big Planet either. I'm so sick of learning new main characters' names. Why can't every game be a FPS with more blood than the elevator scene in The Shining?

We know they've been working on the 360 version alongside the PS3 version, so the only BIG (capital letters) announcement I can think of is simultaneous worldwide release. Japan, NA, and EU get FFXIII Dec. 17. That would update my Christmas list real fast.
