Fainaru Fantaji ftw.
Holy b4lls.
Sony's been swinging some big lumber this year with new and exciting IPs, both on the PSN and in proper retail formats, so I strongly doubt this super secret game will be a new IP. I'm guessing this will be a long-awaited sequel, prequel, or spinoff of some wildly popular series. (I'm not even going to MENTION the FFVII remake.)
I've already got my $60 ready for whatever they make.
I'm forced to wonder what on EARTH Square Enix has been doing for the last three years. Showing off lighting tech demos? I'm starting to wonder if they'll even have two hours worth of game to fill up the demo being released with Advent Children Complete next March.
Dude, didn't you JUST say, "Like to see Killzone 2 on the 360 hardware"? Yes, you did. And 15 minutes later you're ragging on the PS3 for bad graphics? Trying to make friends on both sides of the aisle? It's not working.
According to the article, the 360 version of SCIV is "not as superior as it could have been." I wonder how badly it hurt for Eurogamer writers to spout such PS3 fanboyism. *Rolls eyes*
this article is destined to become pointless flamebait. I think there is room for discussion about the way ALL game companies treat gamers, not to mention the level of intelligence they expect from us.
Climb back into your...wha?...but...
I can't even think of a snappy comeback for such idiocy, so I'll settle for being earnest: please go away and don't post on this site anymore.
@Fishy MTVlol
They mention Mirror's Edge in the introduction, then ignore it in the actual list. ??
Besides that, another game I'm very interested in didn't made the list either: Eternal Sonata. I thought that looked pretty cool when it came out on 360. Might have to make room for it on my shelf. Sonata comes out same day as LBP, though. Ouch.
Then only a month later we have Mirror's Edge, PoP: LE, and Underworld coming out in a period of 8 days! Then the option to import W...
or does this game look WAY better than it did a year ago? The art direction seems darker and more mature, and the character models look a lot more detailed. (Even if that one monster is pretty much a direct thievery of Bahamut in several different FFs.)
Man, I hope it doesn't take them another year to localize.
Last time I was at a Gamestop (I had ten minutes to kill before meeting someone at a nearby restaurant), they had about 10 PC games on the shelf, one of which was Hexen II.
You heard me.
Been waiting for this one for a long time.
"...alot of users are wondering is just how easy is the creation system. Apparently its not as easy as it looks as this video we have for you today shows a gamer failing at constructing a moving horse."
A moving horse?? Why didn't this user start with something easy, like an octopus that plays the harmonica?
Listen, people WILL fail at LBP if they assume they'll only need to put five minutes of work into a deep and exciting level or even model. This game ...
Played through the first two levels. While the first showed a bewildering lack of polish--lots of pop in, and one of the wookiees actually disappeared when I picked him up--the second level was dynamite. Challenging and fun.
Just in case you want the opinion of a regular old gamer.
Once again, proof that someone big wants this game to bomb. First the early reviews said the game played like crap. Gamers on the internet said, "Huh. The demo was fun. I think I'll still try out the full game."
Now the reviewers say, "This game isn't like the demo at all. It's WAY worse. God of War clone! Forget the videos you've seen of huge, open levels and cool design! This is a corridor crawler in disguise."
Thanks anyway, internet. ...
For all of you who pay attention, my first paragraph should read that Gamespot, and not Gamestop, is owned by CNET. Apologies for the mistake.
Before you chew out the original poster for not doing his research, maybe we should all do some research of our own. For example, Gametrailers.com is owned by Viacom, which is in a partnership with Microsoft to produce ad campaigns against Google and for the 360, among other things. And as long as we're researching--this is fun!--Kotaku.com is owned by MTV, which is also under the Viacom umbrella. Next up, Gamestop is owned by CNET, which also has established various financial relationship...
Wow, dude. You hate LBP, the PS3, AND Al Gore? What are you going to do for an encore, pop some little kid's balloon and take his cotton candy?
Even with all the other top-shelf releases in Oct. & Nov., I'm still psyched for this game. I enjoyed Legend and--I hate to admit this--Angel of Darkness really wasn't that bad either.
