Really? I guess she's hot, but she can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. I call fail on the already questionable movie TR franchise. If they just wanted someone hot, they should have used the new Lara Croft model from England. She's smoking hot and could at least do her own stunts.

I believed you were responding to my post. Didn't see the other comment you were responding to because the poster had no bubbles. My apologies. Reported that guy too, if that helps. :)

"Sometimes I dont think people realise that the Playstation 3 is more than a games console."

I've actually seen the opposite argument. People say that, sure, the PS3 is a good Bluray player, but it doesn't have any games. Interesting.

@7.0: How can you say that Sony is the "more wanted" console? I love my PS3, but come on, dude. The 360 is selling very well, and has some great games. People obviously want the 360 too.

@7.1 (and all of your other posts under this article) Shhh. The grownups are trying to have a conversation. $50 might not seem like loads to you because you are a) rich or b) have your parents to buy everything for you, but your comment could be pretty offensive to people for whom ...

Never played XI, but I have to say I love XII. It's weird that when XII came out, most reviewers thought it was great, but now that it's been out for awhile, people seem to hate it more than IX (which I also loved). Uh oh, I feel a list of 3D FF faves coming on:
1. FFX
2. FFVII
3. FFXII
4. FFIX
5. FFVIII
Sorry about that. Anyway, the only complaint I can lodge against XII is freaking Yiazmat. Not only does he have 50mil HP, they added a damage cap ...

Some of the publicity for XIII has stressed that the production team mostly consists of people who worked on FFX. Good news for all of us.

Wow, I played the NA release, got four of the Celestial Weapons, and defeated all of the created monsters in the arena, and I still only clocked in about 70 hours. I've just recently started playing the International release (including dark aeons and Penance), so maybe my playtime will go through the roof as well.

Despite the atrocious writing in this review ("Just like Tidus, you’ll get suck into the wonderful world Spira."), I still enjoyed revisiting this game. FFX...

Sadly I, like 19.1, will care about this game until it a) comes out or b) is cancelled. As I have admitted before, I will import it, then buy the US release, then buy the International release, if there is one. FF has had me by the short hairs since FFVII (and yes I've played the previous ones too).

Even though the screen doesn't say any game's name, the background art is the title logo for FFXIII. If they're just using the logo to excite people, and then make an announcement about effing "Bahamut Goes To Town" for the DS...

...Then I will be disappointed until the next over-hyped, under delivering Square announcement. *sigh*

Really?? Rock on. I've been waiting for this one for a long time. And this is a terrific preview from Eurogamer. Whether I agree or disagree with them, I always appreciate the higher caliber of writing they offer.

Amen to the change of pace idea. I love that you earn a trophy by completing the game without shooting anyone. Can't wait to pick this one up.

Tell you what: the 360 has a hell of a good controller. I like the spring in the analog sticks and the general shape of it. Dislike the hard buttons, but that's my personal preference. The Dualshock line of controllers (of which the Dualshock 3 is, to me, the best yet) is also great. I've been playing on them for close to ten years now and have yet to develop arthritis.

Games are an even bag. I'd love a 360 for Gears, Viva Pinata, NGII, and one or two of the exclusive JRPGs....

Okay okay. The PS3 does use a butt-ton of electricity. However, that's why God created power strips you can switch off and cords you can simply unplug. Good grief, the only appliance in my whole house that I always leave plugged in is my refrigerator. No food will spoil if you unplug the PS3 when you're not playing it. Same's true for the 360 or Wii as well. Next argument, please.

You've got an interesting idea, but to me your logic breaks down when you say Japan--meaning Sony--has this gen in the bag. If that were the case, why are some of the biggest Japanese devs, including Square Enix focusing so much on what western gamers want. Hideo Kojima basically said he thinks Japan's gaming industry, and its whole entertainment industry, will fold if it keeps going the way it's going. Doesn't sound like a cry of victory to me. But like I said, you've got an interesting ...

Sour grapes? So you spend your days playing Infinite Undiscovery, do you? Let Square make all the games they want for the 360 or the PS3 or the Wii for that matter. Jeremy Clarkson has a great point. The best studios in the industry have released multiple blockbusters for both hi-def consoles in the time since Square ANNOUNCED FFXIII, let alone proved that there's a real game behind all the pretty pictures they show in their Closed Mega Theater. Final Fantasy is their flagship title, and...

Before we get a bunch of 6th graders talking about how they don't give a damn about our planet or Al Gore, I'd like to say that Sony's increasing sense of global responsibility is one of the main reasons I'm buying more Sony products, and, conversely, why I can't ever justify buying a Wii. (Check the back logs of articles here or do a search to read about Nintendo's failures in this regard.)

That's not to say that if you buy a Wii you approve of child slavery, or that because yo...

Agreed with above. Square have always über-stingy about releasing new info. However, they won't have much of a choice in March when the internet explodes with hours and hours of FFXIII footage from the Japan-only demo released with FFVII:ACC on Bluray.

(Excuse me while I fight back tears at the "Japan-only" part of that sentence.)
