MGS2 was almost entirely Raiden's story. Snake came in and out of it, but Raiden was the main guy. MGS3 wasn't technically Snake either, as others have mentioned, but as the character model and voice were pretty much identical, it still seemed like it.
No matter what, I echo that Kojima is what makes Metal Gear great. As long as he's around, the games will be Metal Gear games.
lol I guess the sarcasm detectors on the internet are busted today. As I wrote above (hopefully correcting my original post), I love R&C and can't wait for this new one to come out. Game on.
@above: That was my point exactly. In fact I've written several posts about how Gamespot scored the PS3 R&C games unfairly. The first game they said was too diverse and gave it a 7.5. Quest for Booty they said was too close to the core of R&C and gave it a 7.5.
I've said before many times on here that R&C: Tools of Destruction is my favorite PS3 game. I bought it when I bought my system and I've played it through 4 times. The reason I come to R&C news is beca...
Dude, you beat me to this. "Confirmed" is by definition the absence of a question mark. The worst offenders are the ones where the title is so long you only see "Confir..." and then you click it, only to see the question mark. Lies!
Is it the same thing that happens when games stick too closely to their cores?
ToD: 7.5
QfB: 7.5
If this game hits retail before FFXIII in NA I will be really, really irritated.
Yeah, it looks a little less Pixar and a little more Prince of Persia. But you're right that you can't really tell from this vid. No matter what it seems Insomniac isn't ever content to quit upgrading their engines. Great news for gamers.
Even though I'm still pissed that the US release doesn't have the demo, I'm somewhat placated by the $23 cost (amazon.com) rather than $70 for the Japanese version with demo.
Keep it up, man. And thanks.
Seriously, people LOVE this game. I admit I've played through the demo several times, but this game just wasn't on my radar with all the other great summer games. Hmmm.
Oh man I loved Wipeout HD. I'd take a new game or even just new tracks, but assuming the Twitter is at all accurate it will be on PS3 rather than PSP. The HD is a dead giveaway.
"Birth by Sleep is in a terrible state of affairs schedule-wise."
Right, unlike the REST of Square's current big name projects. FFXI PS3 announcement for the facepalm.
Oy vey.
Just finished my first playthrough of the Infamous demo. Holy crap it's really long for a demo. Thanks, Sucker Punch!
Hate to break it to you, Fishy, but I think local co-op for the campaign is only available on Wii. At least, that's what the Wii dev says in this interview:

Bummed me out a bit, although I'm pretty much buying for the single player campaign.
I know, right?! I already commented below that this game better not have the trusty Old Yeller ending.
Reminded me of a puppy. I call the saddest Old Yeller ending ever to Trico. I'm already hitching up a great sob for it.
Calm down, sluggo. This article isn't new OR news. The guy's just speculating on the same old garbage we've all been hearing since last E3. And it was Square who chose to take on the extra burden like the writer says. No one can blame Microsoft for wanting a franchise like Final Fantasy on their console.
Honestly the only part of the agreement that has me annoyed is the supposed day-and-date relationship for the NA release. If the game is done, release it already.
Aquanox you must have eyes like a hawk. I can't see any blur or clarity difference in either shot, even in the background characters. The lighting IS quite different, though. I'm guessing the scene has either simulated photography flashes or some other dynamic lighting.

Actually I AM an English grammar teacher, no joke. And your writing is good enough that I thought you were a native English speaker who was just making some mistakes. I really admire people who study other languages because it's so damn hard.
Anyway, on topic, I'm glad we both like Ratchet and Clank. Maybe I'll see you online when this new one comes out. :)
