I'm looking for Halo Reach to impress and if Gears 3 is a reality then it could be amazing. Add in Alan Wake, Fable 3, and, I guess, Natal and 360 is looking pretty solid.

exactly. Anytime a guy makes himself look hypocrtical (e.g. Bill O'Reilly), America eats it up. Now if it's a guy that's already known to have a thing for the ladies (like Derek Jeter), the story wouldn't be as huge. It's just that this guy's image was insanely polished. The EA relationship (or Madden specifically) is what some people point to as propelling the PS2 over the Dreamcast. Still not sure how I feel about Dante's Inferno but I'll def download the demo.

360 has to be cheaper than PS3 because: A) it can't match PS3 feature for feature and B) if you do include the wifi that bumps the cost up.
MS is going to stick with selling the barebones 360 aka the arcade sku. Allows them to remain cheaper than Sony, sell overpriced peripherals like HDDs and Wifi adapters, AND its make the 50 per for Live not seem so bad since the price of getting the console was only 200.00.
Going to give you a chance to show that you're not a troll by asking for a link or something reputable that states the PS3 wifi is "terrible."
And I couldn't agree with you more on the consumer getting what he or she pays for. Black Friday numbers are proof that most people are aware of this ;)

and most of those sites don't have anywhere near the budget that IGN has. I guess they had to do something because the other IGN layout was daunting to some. I would go there and be overwhelmed. Now I'm....well...underwhelmed. Can't win I guess. Hope they stick with this and don't change to something else.

1: MS' numbers. They didn't outsell Sony 3-1 or 2-1, but they did move more units. Very surprising only because you'd expect a company with guys like Aaron Greenberg speaking for it to boast about that. Especially since they've done nothing but boast about numbers and disparage the competition almost every time they have a mic in front of them. And not to spin the news but shouldn't MS always move more units than Sony when MS has a sku that's 100 bucks cheaper?
