I do. Beat the game on Elite and then we'll talk.

after seizing the casual gaming market and making a boatload of cash on the Wii they'll put out a console that can not only produce HD games but HD games with at least the visual fidelity we've seen on PS3 and 360 this gen and do away with those friend codes. Oh and a better controller is a must.

I guess blu-ray isn't needed. All you PS3 naysayers were right despite anything Guerilla, Naughty Dog, or Insomniac said! /s

Sheesh, that price drop is doing wonders for the PS3. And when will the Wii stop selling gangbusters? Hope some of you new PS3 owners pick up some of the good but somewhat older games like Infamous, Killzone 2, and Heavenly Sword.

still feel this was a guy that didn't need a sequel. Maybe a prequel (play as a rapture citizen right before the city goes crazy).

Sales are up and there are no shortage of AAA coming within the next few months. Why rush it?

If you're a GT fan and you've waited this long, what's another few months? If it doesn't come out this year I can see getting up in arms but as of right now it probably got pushed back to Fall so it can count as a major Q4 release.

Personally, I wish a few franchises I'm a fan of (looking at you Resistance) would take the extra time to make a great game rather than avoiding ...

In your post that I was responding to ("@lifendz,gta 4 made you feel good to be a gamer? it made me feel cheated by rockstar") you didn't mention GTA3 so I didn't address it. I included it on the list because it was the first time I really marveled at an open world game on a console. Each game I mentioned was mentioned for different reasons, not just the story. I thought that was obvious considering Killzone 2 and Halo 1 were mentioned.

Game mechanics and whatever other gripes I had aside, I really admire what they did with the story....in the beginning anyway. C'mon man, how many games do you see where the main character is an immigrant looking to pursue the American dream? I don't know how long you've been playing games, but as a guy who grew up playing games on the NES, I didn't think we'd ever have such real life type issues in games. If you did then you have better foresight than most. I guess what I'm saying is it felt...

that make you glad to be a gamer. Got it from Halo 1, GTA 3 & 4, KZ2, Bioshock, Fallout 3, MGS4...the list goes on and on.

Gaming has to be one of the best hobbies a person could have. Best part about getting older is that games are only getting better with time.

I like that he's honest about his feelings on multiplayer and Avatar. I think it cool that we can now spot differences in gamers, much like with people that are avid movie fans or music buffs, based on when they got into the hobby. Jaffe, as a early gamer, doesn't get the whole leveling up aspect of multiplayer games. Unfortunately for him, that's what I think makes a multiplayer addictive and will keep the average gamer from trading your game in. BTW I got to level 70 in MOW2 and I won't be ...

and the reason being that for 3rd party devs would have to start making games that take advantage of the PS3 regardless of whether that results in a noticeably inferior 360 version.

Look at GTA4. Both versions were practically the same (minor inconsistencies here and there but we'll leave that to the lens of truth guys). Now if R* decided to build the game to take advantage of a standard hdd, blu-ray, and the cell (fanboys are probably already hitting disagree) the 360 version ...

Buddy, you should look at what Nickeloden used to be. Rocko, Ren n Stimpy, and even some episodes of the Rug Rats had some crazy themes and imagery. And even further back was Tom n Jerry. I can't believe that people get so up in arms about the animated violence of GTA which isn't supposed to be available to minors while you can watch an animated Cat hit an animated mouse with a hammer.

and he was as protective of it as some parents are of a newborn baby. "How long you been playing""Don't turn the system off by pressing the power button""Always always leave it standing up, no wait, leave it lying flat""Don't insert any disc in there without my looking at it first."

I eventually stopped playing anything on it when he wasn't around. I kinda get why he was so concerned. I think it was his third 360 and it was starting to act...

because so many of you said it was a waste of time, but it says in the title that they're looking forward at what games will graphically impress us in 2010. So doesn't that mean they're making claims on games that aren't out? That's why, I think, they included games like Halo Reach on the list.

And while game review scores are subjective, graphic comparisons are really subjective. I'm one of the few people that was amazed that Killzone 2 didn't receive more awards for best graphi...

and loved it. Very very immmersive and creepy. The creepiest part about the game is the sound. Hearing an enemy crying for help or singing a hymm about Jesus was creepier than actually fighting them. Especially if you play with a surround sound system. At one point a guy was banging on a door and demanding to be let inside. I remember trying to creep past him and when he saw me I almost jumped out of my seat.

That said I have no desire to go back to Rapture. Highest compliment I ...

and then having to start calculating an annual online fee into your expenses, I guess it's a real nail biter.

Guys, I know a warranty is great. I own a 60gb. If it breaks on me I'd be really bummed because my warranty is wayyy expired. So getting a 3 year warranty is good...I guess. But I can't help but refer to a scene out of Tommy Boy where Chris Farley says something to the effect of a warranty is given because they're only going to give you another broken product. And that's...

seeing as how each game features a new cast of characters and worlds to explore, it's not all that misleading. I could see if it were the same people from each game in the same environment. Even the Cid character is similar to past versions only in name.

and for us. Means other devs may try to follow suit by making games with characters that speak and look like real people. Just played through Uncharted 2 again recently and it's better the second time around.
