completely agree. I'm glad they listened and took a chance on releasing the game at all, but why set yourself up for failure by going against GOW3? Then again last time I spoke against a game for going against God of War III someone told me that I was protecting my system of choice.
Some guy was trying to troll, but he stated there were only 300 people online playing Killzone 2. I know Modern Warfare 2 just dropped, but to think so many people are missing out on this game and not online is crazy!
If the game was built for the ground-up for 360 and can't run on the PS3 then that's fine. I'll have plenty of games next year w/o this. Even if this box under my tree is a 360 I won't get it at launch because I'm already like 4 games behind on games I wanted to play this year.
I really liked the music. Then again Halo games usually have exceptional music.
I'm tired of people acting like graphics are so insignificant. I know gameplay makes a game but graphics are right there with it. Like HD said, I didn't spend almost 600 bucks on a PS3 to see sub-par visuals. I also didn't pay that to get sub-par gameplay. If a game has a problem in either area, I'm probably passing.

I didn't really see anything special. With God of War III being so close I don't see any reason to pick up a rip-off. But hey, if it interests you then to each their own. I seriously was only asking you a question and not trying to be sarcastic with you.

but guys, with so many games coming in 2010 that we know of, and with some destined shockers that we don't know about, I'm not stressing it.
FFXIII, God of War III, Heavy Rain, you name it. Mass Effect 2 looks incredible, but this isn't 2007. If it happens great. If not, no sweat. I probably won't pick it up until the price for it dropped because, again, I'm going to be flat broke next year.

You've been making so many predictions and I can't recall you getting one right. So when you say Live is going to be 10 bucks a month you don't exactly get much credence from people.

but like I said, if I had to chose (and a choice) between MS and Sony motion tech, I'd pick Sony's. Reason being is that I'm an old school guy. I want a controller in my hands when I play a game. If not a controller than a peripheral of some kind. I already have the PS3 eye so I'm sorta on the fence about the motion controller. Probably won't get it at launch as there's too many games dropping next year.
but devs are doing that because they don't want you to trade in the game. If you're really trying to trophy whore the game, you are going to bite the bullet and get that trophy. Given a choice, I have more respect for someone with the Gold trophy for beating KZ2 on elite mode than I do for someone that was in the top 3%. I can attest to what a pain getting that trophy was.
It's gotta be KZ2. Every kill you get is a kill you earn. The class perks aren't so crazy that you rack up 40 kills by using them. And I don't think I ever spawned, got killed, spawned, and got killed again instantly in KZ2. Not to mention the controls feeling so realistic when you shoot. KZ2 is my shooter of the year. Wishing I hadn't let a friend of mine borrow it right now.
is that Heavy Rain is so different from everything else in it's desire to be an adult/mature game that it is essentially a new genre of game. Look at all the trouble people have categorizing it. It's not an RPG, it's not an adventure or action-adventure game, and it's not a series of QTEs despire what some trolls say. Maybe you don't agree with that, but you can't dispute how different this game is from most games.

Anyone remember that year where FFX, MGS2, and GTA3 came out on PS2? Wasn't that like the best year evarrrr? This feels like that year all over. FFXIII, GOW3, Heavy Rain, and possibly the last guardian.
