I know graphics are a really subjective matter to discuss but Alan surpasses anything on PS3? First of all, Alan Wake isn't even out. Let's see what the finished product looks like. And if we're going to start trumping games that aren't out as being better than anything on another console then why not say Killzone 3 looks better than anything on 360?
Alan Wake looks good. Really darn good. But you don't have to claim it trumps everything on PS3 to support that.
Fully expect this to be a 9/10 type game once they finish patching and tweeking it.
Your comment is the reason why Devs don't like to release demos. The demo is based on an unfinished product. And a demo is, obviously, not the whole game. So you don't know how much better the end game will be and what gameplay elements they'll include because your basing your decision on a friggin demo.

And if you really want that trophy update via twitter stuff can't you just use the trophy update via facebook? And I often hear people say PSN feels very barren in terms of a community while XBL feels like you're apart of something. Game looks gorgeous. GOW3, Heavy Rain, and this are raising the graphics level on consoles so high that I don't want the next generation to start any time soon.
Never saw it coming to this but with the proliferation of the blogosphere ,and aggregate sites like N4G, we're getting much more crap than quality. I mean, my god this game looks gorgeous. If PS3 can do more than this then I may not even think about getting a new console regardless of when the next consoles come out. What this game is doing is more than enough to keep me happy.
What's the difference if it can upscale to 1080p from 720p but it's not native 1080p? Can the human eye tell the difference?

This is where 3D kicks in. If you have some friends over and they want to see it, you play it regularly. If you have the TV and the glasses and you're playing on your own, then why not? Unless you get motion sick or just don't like 3D. I think it's a pretty cool option to have.
We all know PC games can, and often do, blow console games out of the water, right? Why do some of you have to bring that up in an article about a console game? Tell you what, when I can upgrade my console like you can upgrade your pc, then we'll talk.

I'll wait to hear that from a more reliable source before I believe it. People are still saying Mass Effect 2 is coming to PS3 despite having heard nothing from Bioware or EA on that. If you want those games, get a 360. Just like in when MGS4 came out you had to have a PS3 to get it.

I'll wait until FFXIII comes out, but so far the rumblings aren't that good. Mass Effect 2, on the other hand, is getting rave reviews and looks absolutely gorgeous. Has anyone else seen the commercials for it? I remember getting up to get a drink only to stop and gaze at the tv.
