It's at the very top of my list :)
Man, I really wish these guys would use their talent for something other than the tired MMO genre...
I already own the Live version of Chaos Theory (Xbox original), which is still the best entry in the series imo.
Not that I would say no to an HD collection, provided they price it reasonably. SC's gameplay still holds up really well (and it doesn't hurt that good stealth games are in short supply this gen).
I hope Nintendo doesn't overthink this problem. Other M's failings were quite obviously stated by the fanbase. The last thing Nintendo needs to do is start reinventing themselves like Squre...
Sure, COD is a major reason many subscribe to Live, but the fact is, Live doesn't COST Activision anything.
MS foots the bill for the servers and bandwidth. You don't get something without paying anything out, and it sounds like that's what Activision wants, which is BS.
Kotick should just be happy with the massive sales the series enjoys on the platform.
Edit: Yes, they do already get a "modest" portion of the su...
Yearly Elder Scrolls I could live with, although I imagine it would take an utterly absurd amount of manpower and funding.
Remember kids, when someone has a different opinion about your favorite video game, MURDER THEM.
And yet another game to look forward to in 2011. *looks at wallet* No complaining from you!
Honestly, this sounds about right for the current state of the PC version, if my friend's experience is anything to go by.
I know the 360 and PS3 versions are deserving of a better score, and I'll probably end up picking one of those up sooner or later, but I'm in no rush this year.
No way. I want my hands to actually be comfortable while I'm holding this thing. Having nothing to grip but the ends of a tube = hands cramping after 10 minutes of play.
Most of these are pretty poor, but it is funny how pic 09 is basically a DS :)
I second this, and have been hoping for that setting for a while.
And Desmond's latest ancestor should have an era-fitting hooded trench coat! (over-stylized as always, of course ^_^)
It's hard to appreciate "Insane Lighting Effects" in a grainy, low-res video. Doing video capture really isn't that hard...
This statement is so ironic it hurts :)
Note to the stupid: If you're going to call someone a fanboy, try not to make a fanboy comment yourself in the same breath.
Forza is a great game. GT5 will almost certainly also be a great game. Gamers are lucky to have so many high-quality racers to choose from these days.
Also @ MinskyM:
You must be really young if you think MS invented the fanboy wars. Nintendo and Sega ...
Either way, Activision wins.
Buggy or not, it's still better than 90% of the stuff this year. And some of the mods already add (/fix) a lot to the experience.
Especially the braindead fanboys hating on Cliff over this misleading title.
His point was simply that Heavy Rain missed a marketing opportunity by not targeting women more with its advertising. It's a perfectly valid argument, and says nothing bad about the game.
But as usual, we get a bunch of foaming-at-the-mouth, didn't-read-the-article fanboys jumping on the hate bandwagon immediately. Pathetic.
I'm honestly temped to pick one up for the fam. Not much interest personally, but I know my sisters would go crazy over Kinectimals.
I pity the fool who has not played Thief 1 & 2. Compared to those gems by Looking Glass Studios, every other so-called stealth game is a pale shadow (which is never a good thing when you're trying to hide ^_^).
Sadly, a lot of the kids here are probably too young to have experienced them.
Exactly. It would be like the Joker without Batman.
"I'm rich."
