Imagine how much you could screw with your friends if they did co-op NPC conversations with those timed events...
NPC: "Forget it Shepard, you'll never get the information from me!"
Shepard: "But your mother told me to give you this momento-"
CRASH! *NPC thrown out of window by player 2*
Player 2 Squadmate: "Yeah! That'll teach you to mess with dead Spectres!"

I feel bad for people who don't own all the consoles.
So many great games on every platform, it's nice being able to experience them all.
I'm interested. This art makes the game look more fantasy than the previous trailer implied, which is all good with me. I want to see what Crytek can do when they really get creative.
Two things:
1) Exclusives are important, but not as important as many here seem to think. Remember that us 'hardcore gamers' are the minority in the market. Moreover, 3rd party multiplatform games still sell *very* well on the 360.
2) Who is 1st place, 2nd or 3rd in the all-important 'Console Warz' hardly matters, when all the major players have achieved enough market share to be profitable. For instance, Buy.com may not have sales as stro...
"Fixed that for you, in my opinion. But since not everyone shares my opinion that it is now fixed, it is not necessary for me to have an opinion of the fixing. In fact, some people may be of the opinion that mine and other people's opinions don't need to me followed by the phase 'in my opinion', imo."
Fixed that for you :)
Seriously, the "imo police" need to grow up. Welcome to the internet, people.
Yeah, support indie games developers!
That is, until they make a hit and start to earn some real money. Then we'll call them sellouts! Those greedy jerks...
Metro 2033 was definitely my top underrated game this year.
Alan Wake was good also, but Metro's thick atmosphere and stealth-heavy gameplay was just awesome, even if the AI could have used some work. Still 1000X better than the disappointment that was Bioshock 2.
Maybe the very best PS3 exclusives, but certainly not all of them. There are plenty of exclusives like Haze that don't really push the hardware.
And then there's the PC when you're talking about multiplats (I'm sure the PC version of DE:HR will look awesome if you've got a rigg powerful enough to max it out).
Anyways, I'll be buying both games. They both look awesome for different reasons (one is an FPS, the other an FPS-RPG hybri...
Galaxy 2 was awesome, but it didn't quite have the impact of the first game.
And yes, God of War is a great game, but for fans of the series like myself, I have a hard time saying that 3 was the best of the bunch (it's not).
But anyways, this is Hip Hop Gamer. He's pretty much the poster boy for "fanboy and proud of it" gamers.
God no. We don't need a bunch of sue-happy idiots cluttering up the legal system with anymore opportunistic BS lawsuits.
It's a small error that shouldn't faze any but the most anal retentive people out there. And if the $10 off really isn't good enough for you, you can always cancel/return and get your money back. Amazon is pretty good about refunds.
Honestly, if anyone actually goes to court and tells some sob story about how their holid...
I think that's against the Geneva Conventions.
Nintendo is actually very likely to keep the crown, considering how big a role price will play in the current economy.
But anyways, for some reason this headline reminds me of that trailer for Aliens vs Predator...
"Whoever wins, we lose!"
But there is a difference.
For major retail outlets, shipped products that don't get sold are returned to the manufacturer for a refund.
That's why stores like Walmart and Best Buy don't usually get stuck with products just sitting on their shelves, at least not for long. If you want to do business with the major chains, you have to offer a buy back.
That said, I fully expect the initial shipments of Move will sell, the only quest...
Hey, you can always just eBay it - effectively a few hundred more in your pocket :)
This does sound like a great deal, although the Sony stores I've been to always have inflated prices compared to the same products elsewhere, so I would advise doing a little price comparison first.
@8-bit:
Actually, it's hard to see, but the car is right on the racing line in both instances. If you look closely you can see the triangles of the Forza line.
Anyways, I hear that GT5's AI gets better at advanced stages, but they should have probably had smarter AI right from the start. It's never as fun racing against dumb opponents, and there are better ways to balance difficulty.
Drake is supposed to be a likeable wise ass.
Whenever Wahlberg plays a wise ass, he just comes off as an ass.
It's as simple as that. He can't pull off a wise-cracking character without comming off as annoying. I've liked him in some other films, but he's a really poor choice for Drake.
This DLC is normally priced at over $2,547.
But if you call now, it can be yours for only $19.95!
But wait, there's more...
TESV is my most anticipated game as well, but this "unoficially confirmed" sourceless story is nothing more than another rumor at this point.
Not to be negative, but there's zero new information in here that the community hasn't already figured out.
Not happening. Once again, this was already confirmed back at Quakecon....
It's an updated gamebryo with supposedly revamped animation.
A patent does not = it's going to happen.
Companies like Sony, Nintendo, MS and Apple file a ton of patents every year. Just because they think something up doesn't mean they're actually going to bring it to market.
In this case, I highly doubt it will happen. It splits your base, even more so than the latest motion control devices, and the track record for similar devices (like the Sega 32X) is pretty abysmal.
