This is like when Ken Kutaragi said playing the PS2 would be like living in the matrix.
Very intrigued about this game. Too bad some of these photos are too blurry to read.
As long as guard post respawns take at least an in-game day, it won't be a problem. FC2's problem was that they respawned 5 mintues after you killed them off.
I've always enjoyed the dynamic AI in the Halo games. Some of my most memorable firefights were against Elites, who could really surprise you with their tactics sometimes.
However, one thing they don't mention in the article is what I'd call the "energy shield effect".
In a game like CoD, the enemies die so fast that even if they had decent AI, you wouldn't notice it. As soon as they're in your sights, they're dead. Thanks to...
If you can find a single complete copy of it on YouTube (or anywhere) older than yesterday, I will happily eat my words :)
No, this prologue is new, although the beginning reuses some footage from a previous trailer.
Game is looking great also. Love the atmosphere.
Originally the DS didn't interest me at all either, but over time it just built up such an awesome library that I ended up giving in and loving it.
I expect the 3DS will be the same. The software may be off to a slow start, but it won't stay that way. Like the DS, the 3DS will likely be a bastion of niche games that don't get as much attention on the home consoles these days (like actually good JRPGs, for instance).
Sweet. Could you pick me up the Skyrim GOTY Edition while you're gone?
@BioDemon
Ubi confirmed it back at E3. Definitely PC footage. Consoles will still look good, but don't expect the same draw distance for foliage, etc.
Simply the AI improvements look dramatically better. Enemies have actual line of sight and require more than a single shot to pinpoint where you are from 100 yards away.
Does it even matter anymore? Star Trek cannon was a mess even before the new movie, and now it's officially been rendered a bad joke.
Good news. This game definitely deserves it. Can't wait for Torchlight 2!
Actually, the original Tomb Raider was released first on Saturn and PC, then on PS1. It was originally planned as a Saturn exclusive and later went multiplatform.
@femshep
It's not just a "graphical overhaul". The headline is rather misleading. Andoran is a full conversion - a new game built off Oblivion, similar to Nehrim (with new characters, landscapes, quests, etc.).
@Pixel_Pusher
You do realize that the DVD format was also used for the PC version, and it didn't take a dozen disks.
In any case, it will mainly be the limited RAM on the consoles that will hold things back, not storage space. People put way too much weight on bluray/DVD/etc. If space was the main issue, all you would need to max out PC games is a big hard drive...
It won't be smart when fans like myself who have supported Nintendo for 20 years decide not to buy a Wii U. No use getting another Nintendo console when I know they aren't even going to bother releasing half the games that I want to buy.
Smart businesses understand that sometimes you take a short-term loss for a long-term gain. Even if Nintendo only broke even localizing those titles - even if they *lost* money - they would make it up in the long-term from all the oth...
It would be nice if N4G didn't "feel the need" to keep posting BF3 vs MW3 topics. It was already getting old weeks ago.
Even if you don't trust the previews, the game's preview code was leaked a while back and has been played by plenty of non-journalists, with the general sentiment being right in line with the glowing previews.
By all indications, this looks to be a true follow up to Deus Ex.
There were a number of stories confirming the Japanese audio track earlier, such as this one:

I wouldn't take this list seriously at all. I may own Star Ocean 4, but I sure as heck wouldn't give it any RPG of the decade awards...
