It's a totally different developer (Zenimax Online Studios) that's doing TES Online, not Todd Howard & Co. at Bethesda Game Studios.
As such, I wouldn't worry about any talent drain. That said, BGS is likely split between a Skyrim DLC team and a team that's already started on the groundwork for their next project (Fallout 4 or whatever else they've got lined up).
This looks like one of those games where players and critics seem to have wildly different opinions.
Most of those playing the game seem to be really enjoying it, while a lot of "official" review sources are calling it mediocre. In these situations, I tend to trust the players more.
"The Enchanced Edition provides 360 gamers with underwhelming textures that seem blurry in comparison to the PC version and character animations that are not nearly as fluid as either the PC version or other "Triple-A" caliber games currently available on the console."
Wait, what? Yes, the textures are better on PC, but they're not bad at all on the 360 version. The visuals are still easily on par with most big budget games.

"Zombies with guns" basically describes the problem with modern Resident Evils.
Once the undead become simply gun-toting enemies with a convenient excuse for having poor AI, they lose their fear factor, and the game essentially plays like just another 3rd person shooter.
I prefer my zombies feral and my ammo scarce. Fewer explosions and more tension is what RE needs.
Yeah, I like the bigger screen, but without a 2nd analog stick that's just not enough to make me trade in my current 3DS for this new model.
If it's 2008 Prince of Persia then Altair is screwed. That guy was totally immortal. You could even set down the controller and take a nap during the final boss battle without having to worry...
I approve of this game.
I'm not usually impressed by live-action trailers, but that was pretty badass.
Even if it does get released, Versus looks to go in a new direction rather than recapture the classic FF spirit.
I can live with that, but it would be great to have a new turn-based FF that combined the combat of, say, FFX with the exploration of FFVI. Unfortunately, Square seems to think we care more about pretty CG scenes...
Not sure if I'll skip it, but it's gone from a day-1 buy to a "let's wait and see".
After a few upgrades, Isaac was already nearly unstoppable. Pumping up the action and empowerment even more sounds like the opposite of what the series needed.
Yeah, Reach updated the iconic visor look. Halo 4's sniper looks a bit more generic by comparison.
The shield looks really useful if you're getting outgunned at long range (or need to cross a dangerous area without fear of snipers), but using it in close seems like a good way to get yourself killed.
Basically, it has its advantages and drawbacks. Looks much more interesting than armor lock.
The irony is that many gaming sites will in turn blow the media's reaction out of proportion.
Some obscure local news channel will run a 20-second blip and all of a sudden "[insert network here] is biased against gamers!" etc.
Controversy = more hits all around, so both sides love to stroke the flames...
I'll miss the visor, as it always made the Halo sniper rifle feel iconic, and scoped view looks a little too busy, but the heft and sound of the weapon is nice.
PV drains very fast, making it hard to spam, plus the rocket launcher is still a power weapon (which now have randomized spawn points), so I really don't see this combo being as big of a game changer as it seems.
They got some cash out of me, and I already owned several games in the bundle. Still totally worth it.
Kevin Butler is exactly what Sony needs, as he would help add that element which Smash Brothers nails and Battle Royale seems to be missing: Humor.
Nintendo benefits from the sheer absurdity of most of Smash Brothers cast beating each other up, while Battle Royale's cast leans heavily on characters that are already violent, thus losing that humorous appeal. Adding Kevin Butler would go a long way in helping to bridge the gap.
Yeah, that line worried me as well, but the fact that DX:HR turned out so well gives me some faith that they won't botch it up (I hope!).
Was sad that we didn't see any footage at E3, but as long as they deliver on that goal, this will definitely stay high on my radar.
I just hope the next gen consoles have FAST bluray drives. Slow read speed is why we have mandatory installs and long loading times.
