Lmao
That is a legit excuse.
Well, there's definitely a lot of stuff going on here (in terms of graphics)
Lots of detail, high res textures, volumetrics, tons of shadows, high quality reflections everywhere etc.
Looks really nice
I think it looks gorgeous. Esp on PC.
It's got a lot of impressive graphical features that you just don't see used in most other games, atleast not to this extent.
@Activemessiah
And how is that not noteworthy ??
Not only that, but it's far more detailed than any other game so far. It has weather and lighting that surpass most other similar games, especially with the volumetrics and lighting interaction. Very impressive stuff
Ofcourse it was downgraded. Just like The Witcher 3 and WatchDogs, which were shown in 2013 BEFORE console specs were known.
On the XBONE and PS4, what do you want them to do ? The only way they can make it look that good is if it runs at 10fps. It should tell you something that there were three stunning open world games shown in 2013 (TW3, Division, WD), and all three of them were downgraded. That should clearly tell you what happened. Devs overestimated target hardware spe...
Not the point.
1 pirated game is NOT the same as a lost sale. I think the vast majority of pirates are people who wouldn't have bought them at all, and just pirate and play whatever games they can.
I know, because where I grew up, that's what ALL of us used to do. Well, except for... one or two guys, and they were rich. That was the only way we'd play them, and absolutely would not have been able to buy them/convince our parents to buy them.
Don't blame anyone. They recommended a 970 and that makes sense. You can play it on high - ultra at 60fps, with some settings turned down.
Uh, I don't know lol. Looks more impressive than GTA 5 to me.
Is that music added in or part of the game ? Beautiful ! Adds such a wonderful atmosphere during exploration.
Also, the game looks great.
Edit : Ok, that music is obviously added in :P
Soundtrack from Gravity is in there.
Is there going to be an article every time he visits a studio :P
CDPR don't use any, and The Witcher 3 is one of the best selling games of its kind on PC.
Played it on PC... what a game !
They really know how to tell a story.
@masterfox
They were showing that before they even knew console specs. Can you blame them ? Two other dev teams did the same that E3.
just like WatchDogs.
Just like Witcher 3
Those were the 3 graphically impressive multiplats shown in 2013 E3, before console specs were released. Nothinng else came close.
What do all three of them have in common ? They all were downgraded. That should tell you something. three separate...
Witcher 3, FFXV, MGSV
Very bad comparisons. Infamous SS is kind of a bad comparison too...
Different types of looks from all those games, with 2 of them largely different type of environment.
Also, 2 of them are exclusives. They're going to look better than multiplats. The Division looks great for an open world game. It's one of the best looking open world game multiplats I've seen.
Lol.
Makes sense. Even if those 4k screenshots were straight from the game without any doctoring, the game will not look like that the vast majority of the time. Typical bullshots to begin with.
E3 downgrade aside, the PC version by all accounts seems to be a proper PC version, rather than a port.
It's honestly stupid of Ubisoft to release bullshots like that. Unless they're holding something back for release, they're going to get...
Well, those screenshots look fantastic. They show great texture quality and detail especially, which was always a concern after E3. Even if they are bullshots, we know that the texture quality is really good.
"The Matrix"
Bullshit, we all know that only the XBONE can achieve that. He's touring with the wrong people
'Jihadi Jane'
lmao that picture xD
What do you mean ?
Also, this game is more graphically advanced than The Witcher 3. It's difficult to compare because of completely different types of setting.
Even so, lighting, volumetrics, shadows, reflections are all better in The Division.
