Cyberpunk 2077 did get game of the show from sooo many people. They chose it over TLOU 2 ;)
That said, obviously we can't judge because we haven't seen anything, and the games are very different anyway, so...
Death Stranding was way better imo.
It looked great, but nothing amazing. Death Stranding on the other hand.. everything I see is so ridiculously well done, and there is nothing there that doesn't look original.
disagree with that. Ghost of Tsushima was not as good as TLOU.
oh please. Watch RDR 2 come out and blow everyone away, and then watch their next gen game do the same again.
but what about the core of the game ? the things that rely on CPU ? That's what I'm curious about. Either way, I hope the PC and next gen versions are as good as the demos they are showing people.
As long as the next gen and PC version are not downgraded, everyone will be happy. Hopefully the PC version maxed out will look as good as the demo.
yeah, conference itself could have been better. I enjoyed Microsoft's conference the same or a little more.
That said, Death Stranding is probably the best game I saw at E3.
The combat was the most intense thing ever. The amazing thing is a lot of that will be a part of the normal combat systems and not fully canned sequences, judging by the first game.
It looked nice, but lots of things need work. It will be much better when fully polished. Until then, I'm cautiously optimistic. It looked good, but not amazing.
Apparently no human NPCs. They'll all be other players.
It absolutely is. Heck it kind of already is right now.
It's just a side effect of more people having more internet, and the internet becoming more and more prevalent in our lives. It's inevitable.
what do you mean a world that doesn't want it ?
Being able to play any game on any screen with an internet connection ? It's the future for a lot of people.
The reason it isn't good yet is because of technology limitations, as well as latency. As these things get ironed out, atleast some types of games will be perfectly playable via streaming.
too many people expected the game this year. It's not coming this year imo
hopefully they start supporting Vive as well.
Either way, great to see a studio like this developing in the VR space :)
State Of Decay 2 is the game that God Of War wishes it could be. Mabye it'll get there with a sequel, but that might just be wishful thinking.
It's the truth. Sony earned this position by investing the time and money and giving creative people the ability to do what they do best. Let's hope they keep it up and take it even further.
Hopefully they have good filtering in place. It's not a good idea to have lots of porn games popping up on people's steam pages.
They should have a filter that blocks that stuff by default, especially since the steam signup age is 13
Right now, Skyrim VR on PC is probably one of the best gaming experiences there is out there, especially once you mod it.
VR will never replace pancake gaming, but you're wrong if you think it isn't significant. PSVR is the most popular and mainstream VR device, and I'm glad Sony is pushing on that front.
@PhantomS42
Obviously they either hurt sales or don't do anything good for them.
If they were worth it, people would be doing it as much as before. I don't find it hard to believe that demos hurt sales. Playing a demo and watching a stream are not the same. With a demo, it's much more likely that you would believe you've experienced enough.
I know because I feel this way myself. Watching a game online, and its great. ...
Have to disagree here, I can't get enough of this game. Funnily enough for me it was the best one at Sony's conference, beating TLOU 2 and Spiderman and Tsushima.
I don't know why. It's just so damn intriguing. Every time I see this world I want to know more. It's the weirdest, most original thing I've seen in a while, and the production value is fantastic. Also, I'm seeing facial animation and character quality that is competing with Naughty Dog,...
