It specifically refers to them shelving the AC series to revamp it completely. How is that not a good thing ? The article then goes on to say that Vivendi takeover would probably make things worse.
Give credit where it's due. Don't continuously make Ubisoft out to be the devil in every discussion.
Did you read the article ?
The author is implying that the takeover will do the exact opposite, making things worse than they are now. Just recently Ubisoft announced that AC would be shelved for a while as it is revamped.
The author is basically saying that Vivendi, with their goals for much higher revenue, could destroy all that.
"That means taking Assassin’s Creed (along with other popular titles) off the back burner and turning them ...
For the vast majority of console players, XBONE exclusives are still exclusives.
PC is a different market.
Unless all PS4 gamers have gaming PCs, what you're saying is irrelevant and untrue.
For the vast majority of console gamers, these games are still Xbox exclusives. In other words, this has less of an effect than people think.
The only thing that's true is 'It's bad for the XBOX brand' but that's irrelevant because it's owned by MS, and MS is benefitting from this. This only affects people who already had gaming PCs or were thinkin...
Graphics are fantastic. Every single scene in that trailer was a graphics treat lol.
UC2 and TLOU were amazing experiences. Naughty Dog are one of those devs that just always make top quality stuff.
It doesn't win any war. It isn't competing with either Oculus Rift or the Vive.
@DarkOcelet
$300/350 for just the headset. Bundled with move, closer to $400 ?
That's still much cheaper than Oculus Rift (OR + Oculus Touch will be minimum $800).
just had to make that comment didn't you ? I guess you love starting/instigating fanboy wars. More power to you
Don't know how you can even compare games from the two devs, as they're completely different, but whatever.
Can't tell if fanboy or just trolling.
for the vast majority of gamers, it's not going to be that way.
The PSVR is going to be only for the PS4, and the other two are only for PC. They just don't compete with each other (for the most part)
Device doesn't compete with either the Rift or Vive.
If you're a PC gamer, there's no point getting a PSVR lol. If you're a PS4 gamer, you're going to get a PSVR anyway.
PC and console... different markets...
PSVR doesn't compete with either the Rift or Vive
Sony's complete kit will probably be around $500 or something.
Around $300 for the headset. They are the only ones who can afford to sell it like that
$800 for fully immersive, room scale VR. Ofcourse it will sell.
In the coming years it'll only get cheaper and cheaper. Much cheaper infact
why ?
Have you actually tried it ?
Is preload available for WiiU ?
"It'd be unlocked and playable for free in less than a week. "
Remedy would have to be stupid if that could be done. They could easily hold back a few critical files, and that's it.
As long as it's not required to play the game...
Honestly, that is going to lose them quite a few sales...
Hope it does well though.
Luckily, BF isn't like COD. It's not multiple studios cranking one out each year (there was Hardline, as a spin off, but still)
Every 2 games, they've basically completely revamped the game, and by that I mean the CORE features of the game - the basic building blocks. This ensures that it's all new and exciting. That's why Battlefield 3 was so exciting.
The visuals, the animations, the feel of gameplay, they overhauled all of it. In compa...
