@Big-finger

Yes, they absolutely did raise the bar for graphics. especially lighting and global Illumination. Yes, the game has lots of technical issues on XBOX, but the lighting, the Global Illumination is simply the best I've ever seen.

And before anyone says that Uncharted 4's is the same/better, no it isn't. Uncharted 4 will obviously be the better looking game overall, no doubt, but it's very clear from any gameplay or screenshots that Q...

Might be just for the beta...

Even so, you can say that about any game, because there are always things that are not present in the options menu that you can tweak in the ini file.

"The game is not good but amazing. That's the conclusion"

Not really. Some people don't like it. Some do. Some really love it. Some hate it. Kind of expected, to be honest, the TV show especially was always going to divide lots of people on this

this is brilliant

It's not entirely inaccurate you know. I mean, if there's one thing the game is right now, it's space ship porn.

"best video game ocean I've ever seen"

I disagree. There's been other games that are as good, maybe even a few that are better.

Still one of the best, no doubt, looks gorgeous.

"How about freedom of artistic expression?" What about it ? Everyone has it. Does that somehow invalidate an opinion about an aspect of the game ?
You're missing Discokid's point. We can say 'artistic expression' to defend any criticism in that case.

Now I'm not saying DiscoKid is right in that it was all about the sexualization not fitting with the character. I have no idea, but that's besides the point...

I can say ...

You're not looking at the rate at which new phones come out, that's for sure.

I don't think every year, I think it's going to be about 2 years before the CV2

You probably haven't tried it.

Don't compare VR and 3D, the two are completely different. Staring at an image on a screen that pops out vs being put right into the game world.

The latter is simply much more compelling.

wow, that original idea was really interesting :D
Rewind with a twist.

"steals all the headlines, and leaves its rivals wondering what exactly they can do to stop them."

I really don't get why people keep saying dumb things like this. Who are it's rivals ? The two headsets on a completely different platform ? lmao

What animations specifically ? I don't get it, because when I look at the movement animations they look very realistic and detailed.

Why is it not appealing ? VR is quite something.

Well, yeah, I can agree it sounds a bit immature.

Kind of like that other article "Let's not pussyfoot around it... PSVR..."
Something about the price putting the PC solutions to shame.
That article was hilarious. "...makes the Rift and Vive smell like a bag of dicks, and bags of dicks don't smell good" xD

Regardless, they should just stop doing that. In both cases, makes them look like fanboy children, like yo...

they don't work as well in some titles, especially titles that were first made for Vive and Oculus. eg Job Simulator. He wasn't playing rigs or The Heist.

Why is this so hard to believe given that it only uses 1 camera instead of two ?

What if it was a bug in the game or something ?

It's probably fine, because for most experiences it will work fine. For the PSVR exclusive experiences, it will obviously work perfectly.

@dirkdaddy @nus

Read the article please.

He didn't say anything about jitter. He said something about tracking issues. Things like in job simulator, during some operations the tracking going wonky.

During golem, the tracking not catching things like speed and direction.

It is entirely possible that these are :-
1) are bugs in the game.
2) result of the game itself - eg: in golem maybe it doesn't track ...

"No superior engineering and fabricated manufacturing equals cheaper price. "

Lol you can't say that for everything. The PSVR is, for example, lower spec than the Oculus, and probably cheaper to produce. That said, I'm not saying superior engineering is not at play here. It's still probably a very high quality headset.

Also, Sony can sell at a loss as well, which makes it lower price. PSVR is probably a really good hardware deal for the ...

"Less than 1%' of PCs can run virtual reality"

Less than 1% of what PCs ? Gaming PCs ? Or general PCs? because if it's the latter, that statistic is meaningless.

And the number will obviously drastically increase in the next few years.
In a few years, PC VR experiences will be more impressive than what's available on PSVR.
That has nothing to do with VR, that's just the usual console - PC...
