I went to Metacritic to remove critic bias and that score is in comparison to other game scores. If you're ranking on sales alone, then your favourite restaurant would be McD. I'm sure you have better taste than that :)

Really? Haven't got LegoCity so may have to pick that one up, but I've found a ton of great games.
In our house we are varied ages and currently playing/played (and loving!) Pikmin3*, Deus Ex DC, Mario 3D, Trine2*, The Cave, Little Inferno, Assassins Creed IV, Scribblenauts*, Just Dance*, Zombi U, Zelda Wind Waker*, Wonderful 101*
The kids really get into the ones I've marked *, and I like a lot of them too, though ...

Can turn things that fast (nor would you want to when you have a core audience), but don't you think that Bayonetta 2, X, Deus Ex DC, and Monster Hunter 3 are at least stepping in that direction?
They put parental controls in for a reason (would be nice if they actually PASSWORD PROTECTED accounts - doh!)

Okay, I've never play Bayonetta (though I will if Baoynetta 2 gets good ratings).
Anyway, I thought I'd look up the Metacritic score for Bayonetta ... its 90% NINETY PERCENT!

You didn't like it, but clearly a lot of people did.
Lot of other games on the Wii U worth playing too. More worthwhile on the Wii U, at the moment, than either the PS4 or Xbox1.
Pick your poison. I picked the Wii U for this year. Next year I'll look at Xbox1, PS4 and Steam to see where they stand and the games available, and if I want one to replace the PS3.

Let me stop you there. While Nintendo certainly has a family audience, it also has parental controls for a reason. Truthfully I prefer AC4 and Deus Ex with the Wii U and its gamepad - because of the gamepad.
If you play a few hardcore games on the Wii U, you quickly discover how much better play can be with the gamepad, even if grap...
Like Smash Brothers, Bayonetta 2 or Mario Cart? Oh wait ... None of them are coming to any other console.

Rich Drummund is far from alone. Lots of hype around PS4 and Xbox1, but truthfully .... at the moment..... the fun is with the Wii U.
After playing with the gamepad on Deus Ex and AC4, I don't want to go back to those crappy controllers.
I don't believe I have to explain this - perhaps I'm feeding a troll ... anyway ...
1) If you are going to add something innovative like the gamepad, ALL product must have it to ensure there is development for it;
2) The price is not much of a factor when competitors are priced higher;
3) The gamepad is EXACTLY why I wanted the Wii U. Nice to hold, plays offscreen, and is great for minimaps, and inventory (at least) in the action gam...
He is right - Wii U is the next gen system - UNLESS you are only measuring graphics.
For gameplay, hands down, Wii U wins.
If you are just reading, without actually having played Deus Ex or Assassin's Creed IV on Wii U, side by side you don't understand how much impact that gamepad has to improve gameplay.
Deus Ex for one. AC4 is good too.
That gamepad is great for gameplay on the Wii U, and I believe it provides better play value, than the added graphics capability of the PS4.

Gamepad is a far better playing experience.
Wii U has started to get a steady stream of games, AND it plays all of the Wii library.
PS4 and Xbox1 DO lack games - there is no denying it.
A year from now I'll possibly pick one of those two up, if Steambox isn't already out.

The point is that the scores are high - very little "crap ware", and if Nintendo and 3rd parties keep up this pace, the Wii U looks like the best console out there.
Then there is all of the Wii catalogue too, as Wii U is backwards compatible.

I thought his comment was quite accurate. Where is the software?
On the PS4 it is almost non-existent, so why anyone would buy now is beyond me.
All that said, yeah, I think PS4 (no, I don't believe Xbox1 - Japan won't buy) could dominate if they do get the software.

I think he is saying that he doesn't have room for 3 consoles, and I don't disagree with them.
Just that my two consoles would start with Wii U, and then one of Steambox, PS4 or Xbox1.
But Wii U is the #1 required console.
