Wii U has Deux Ex DC, Pikmin3, Zelda Wind Waker, Zombi U, Rayman Legends, and Monster Hunter 3. All were very well rated. Bayonetta, Smash Brothers, X and Zelda coming shortly.
What does PS4 have? What were those games rated at?
The PS4 has been well hyped, but there won't be much to play for the next year, for a "gamer". Just saying.
For what it is worth, Zelda Wind Waker HD was pretty awesome, and worth picking up for that.
That was my first Zelda, and between that, Deus Ex, Monster Hunter 3 and Pikmin 3, the console is really quite good.
Nintendo has about $11Billion in cash and no debt. They could certainly buy if it made sense, but I doubt it does.
I'm not offended.
I can't think there is enough synergy for Nintendo to buy. However, I could see them licensing Kinnect at some point.
MS is losing a rumoured $2 Billion a year on Xbox. With Balmer stepping down, a change in management might jettison the project to increase profits.
Sony has financial problems too.
Nintendo is in best position to buy at the moment, but I don't see the value in it for them.

I disagree - reasons why :) ...
1)Can play my Wii library (unlike PS3/Xbox if I upgrade)
2) For $10 each I get online tennis and bowling
3) For price of a Fit Meter I get Wii Fit U
4) Casual audience WAY outnumbers hardcore - so see #2 and #3 again
5) Deus Ex Directors Cut SOLD me on how Wii U can enhance games
6) There isn't much on the other consoles - and look at ratings for what there is! Maybe in a year.

Well, I haven't looked at the Xbox1 games, but there is NOTHING worth distracting me with on PS4 exclusives.
Check the reviews yourself; barely above shovelware.
That being said, I hope that Nintendo, Sony and MS get their acts together for this generation.
Deus Ex Directors Cut, and Monster Hunter 3 - both 3rd party and VERY worthwhile on Wii U in my humble opinion.
It doesn't impact Sony, but it will definitely impact retail sell-through which is the major factor.

Ohh ....agree on Wind Waker ... played it through and had a ton of fun!
A million sold, but how many are going to be returned to retailers in January (reducing sell through dramatically).
I note that there are thousands of PS4s on offer on Ebay at the moment. I also note that the pricing is relatively low for a new console ($500 range - I expected more price gouging), which means there is more supply in the market than being absorbed.
While I'm more a Wii U fan at the moment (it has games), I'm hoping PS4 does well, but ...
Because the companies providing the stats only have retail info? The only way downloads would be known, is if Nintendo was providing.
I'm not sure where people are getting the attach rate from.

What three games on the PS4 are worth it? I only see Resogun. Seriously, I rarely buy a game less than 80 - I don't want crapware.

I LOVE my Wii U. Deus Ex is great on it (and worth the extra over the PS3 version IMHO), Pikmin3, Zelda (far better than I'd ever have thought!).
Now there is tennis/bowiling and Wii Fit - all priced relatively inexpensively.
There was a lack of games, no doubt. Now though, I've got 200 GB worth of games.
You NEED to check out the e-shop. In the last 2 months I've been overloaded. Deus-ex, Pikmin3, Zelda HD Wind Waker. Lots of other games of interest too.

The gamepad allows them to do BOTH. Works well in my household. I get to play Deus Ex Directors Cut on gamepad.
