And we thank you :)
In fairness to Yves however, programming for a PS4 or an X1 or even a PC is fairly similar as they are all on the X86 platform.
Wii U, while I'd argue on a technically better platform in many respects (more throughput per watt, for those who are going to ask), does require different coding, hence a different team, and the margins aren't as good as the code isn't transportable as say PS4 to X1 or PC.
Sorry - I was looking at weekly sales, not 3 week sales.
I recall that being a bit warped because MarioCart was only there for 2 days of the first week - but I may be off there.
You are combining two platforms. I'm looking specifically at PS4 vs Wii U, which have a comparable hardware numbers in the market.
If you increase the install base by including platforms outside of PS4, you'd certainly see more sales - but a poor basis for analysis.
I'd have expected the sales would be closer.
Interesting that MarioCart is taking a big lead in software sales over Watchdogs on PS4.
Don't have Watchdogs. Is Watchdogs selling fewer as it hasn't lived up to expectations on PS4, or is MarioCart doing better because there is so much pent up demand?
What idiot wrote that " Microsoft and Nintendo fans are gloating"?
I mean really, talking about troll bait! I'm a Wii U fan, but I have absolutely ZERO interest in gloating over another gamer's misfortune. Just plain dumb!
Not even clicking on the article, because of that snippet.
Haven't played Square Enix, but like RPGs (Child of Light) so I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring to Wii U!
For ^%#^%$^ sake, would you just go to a local Best Buy store and try it out? You can't seriously judge based on youtube videos?
Really?!
I think you should read the article. Headline is off-putting until you see that he was absolutely against Wii U.
The kids love Scribblenauts, and they soon start reading for themselves and asking how to spell words.
Interesting ... of everything I saw it was Splatoon that caught my interest as a strategy game.
The only thing I liked more, was Zelda.
I think the attach rate is actually quite good for the Wii U. Yeap, apparently it is ...

Sheesh, I have too many titles to play at the moment!
It is a Wii U exclusive (PowerPC), whereas if you develop for the Xbox1, it is an easy port to PS4 or PC as they are all based on X86.
Watch Dogs on Wii U should be great actually with the gamepad. Maybe even better graphics.
The gamepad is actually very nice, and EXCEEDINLY good for games where you have inventory to manage, or mini-maps.
I now prefer it to any of the other controllers, but I had the same hesitation initially.
If they are going on financial stability, Nintendo should win. Lots of cash, without the distraction of a myriad of business requirements for it.
I'm going to stick it to the man alright ... and his name is NINTENDO.
Nintendo, I'm PISSED. I've spent $300+ on the Eshop, and now I need a second console in the home - and you've screwed your customer over. Unlike a disk, I can only use the games I've purchased on ONE CONSOLE?! What?! I understand if I can only download my content to one console at a time, but this is just STUPID.
Nintendo, I pay a PREMIUM price on eshop because it i...
Okay, found the definitive answer here:

They WILL NOT permit transfers between Wii U systems unless your system is broken/defective. This is DUMB.
Nintendo - I can move a disk between systems, why not my digital downloads? Think this makes you more money? Wrong again!
What this does is incite me...
Agreed - that was my experience with Deus Ex DC - two screens were great.
Wii U ... the rest of the world is slowly coming around to reality
