Yes, of the next gen systems, for the moment the Wii U clearly has the best content, and a fair amount of it.

I'm not calling it mediocre, the GAMING CRITICS are calling it mediocre. Look at Metacritic. The absolute best score is only 80. Mostly mid 70s.
I think Dues Ex is fantastic and as I said, I'd have paid if if it weren't mediocre. But it is, and it isn't worth full pop.

Okay, Watchdogs is rated as a mediocre game - "best" Metacritic score was an 80 on the PS4, and it goes down from there.
I'd personally replay (or pick it up if you haven't) Deus Ex Directors Cut. Metacritic around 90.
It isn't that we "hate" Watchdogs. It is that we don't see why anyone would pay full price when it is now a known quantity ... "mediocre".
Dear Ubisoft:
1) The VERY BEST Watchdogs rating is only 80% on Metacritic;
2) Cat is out of the bag - it is just "OK"; Hype is over
3) You're selling for premium pricing, with free add-ins
So ... no, I'm not buying. Yes, I'm somewhat interested in Watchdogs (given <80% rating it would be worst rated game I've purchased on Wii U), but game quality is a known (given no special use of Gamepad) and it isn't worth ...
What they could do more would be to not link Nintendo IDs to hardware. Then I could put another WiiU in the basement, and buy more software (as I'd have more opportunity to play).
Seriously, I'm not alone in this, and they could easily pump another million systems out.
They could also get rid of region controls (I now have both a US and CDN account - argh).
Finally, while I know it isn't their genre, they need to deliver mature ...

Man ... it's hard being a Wii U gamer .... too many great games.
I'm old enough - my first RPG was Collosal Cave. M rated games are fine, but a good game is a good game and Nintendo without a doubt has a far larger share of REALLY GOOD GAMES on the Wii U at the moment.
PS4 and X1 will eventually ... maybe (because to a large extent they compete with PCs and Steam) get their share, but Nintendo has it today.

I get your comment, but there are also Bayonetta 1 and Deus Ex, which have the best versions on the Wii U. You'd probably like Zombi U as well.
What the Wii U actually lacks are open world FPS. That being said they have almost everything else covered with AAA titles that receive (and deserve) fantastic reviews.

Check the Metacritic scores and I think it is highly likely that one of the Wii U titles will get GOTY.
Almost everything has been 85+
On that basis, McDonalds should be the best burger in the world.
I don't see the Zelda/Mario etc selling poorly.
Bayonetta was just another fantastic job and it is hard for me to turn down a 90+ Metacritic rating. It isn't a genre I was into, by Bayonetta 2 sold me.
Unfortunately I am stuck with a Wii U. I can't insult them as their games are all great (check Metacritic) and there are so many great games now that I don't know what to buy next.

You clearly haven't played their games and are making the "assumption" that because the characters are the same, the games are the same (or similar). Just not true.

If you'd read the article you'd quickly find your "best exclusive games" on the PS4 is laughable. I think he said 8 games rated over 85 on Metacritic by both critics and audience?
