OH yeah, those resolutions that the PS3 can display?
This has nothing to do with the 360 specifically, it's something that all games go through.
Is it actually "hurting" performance, though? I mean, the PS3 has a HDD in every model, but do any games perform any better? Or at least, significantly better.
Sure they can - and many do. Halo 3, obviously, takes advantage of it and I know Far Cry 2 does as well. Yet they both work on the Arcade just fine. Pretty much any game that doesn't perform any better - or performs worse, when you do an NXE game install, has to be using cache on the HDD.
It's actually not that difficult, from a programming point of view, to separate it out.

#4: Not Including a standard HDD on the Arcade Model
I actually disagree with this statement. Well, sort of. I think, personally, that the arcade is a waste of time. I'd never buy one, except maybe if my 360 died and couldn't be repaired or whatever. So to me, it's utterly utterly useless, yet still I disagree with this statement and this is why -
For many people, more than most people on here care to admit, the Arcade is actually the perfect match for them. Really, ...

Right, this might sound like a stupid question, but is the top (original) image absolutely, definitely "in-game" and more to the point, is it a "target render" or not? The vast majority of games tend to come out with "target renders" when they're first announced, that are more what they hope to make it look like ingame. This is what the big stink with Killzone (the first one) was and I believe Doom 3 was a similar situation - early screens were much better lookin...
Yeah, on the FAT PS3's, but look at every single pic of the slim that we've seen so far - the logo is just painted on, it's not movable or rotatable.
Yeah the PS logo is the wrong way around.
The smart thing to do would be to stop releasing crap games.
Anything the SIXAXIS does?
Sony can't stop ANYONE from doing anything. Even if they did patent it, Microsoft could just pay royalties. Patents do NOT prevent anyone from using them, they simply ensure whoever owns the patent gets a cut.
"You won't be doing 3D tracking with a controller in your hands."
...why not? Natal doesn't track anything specific, just what the developers tell it to, so why can't it track the controller?
IS it just for Gears 2? And is it US only?
What makes you think they'd be region locked? None of the digital stuff is region locked, if it's not available in your store, you are able to create a different account and download them through that. The digital stuff works on all consoles.
As for retail games region locking, that's up to the publisher, not MS, so stop trying to blame them for it.
Why is it that everything Microsoft does has to be some major conspiracy?
The reason "new titles" aren't available is because Microsoft makes most of their money from retail stores and by selling them all online, they're only going to piss off those retail stores, which could cost them dearly. Imagine what would happen if say Walmart decided to stop selling 360 games. Sound crazy? Well that's probably what they'd consider doing if they perceived Microsoft as trying to c...
I wonder if you'll be able to keep your customisations outside of the game?
Also, I have to give it to Harmonix, if you look at Rock band, all of the characters on stage actually sync up with the music. If you miss a note, so do they. That doesn't happen in guitar hero, where all the animation seems to be pre-defined. Hopefully now that they're using Avatars in GH, Neversoft will fix it.
Hey nobody asked you for a breakdown on which console you think won or didn't won. You're proving my point exactly.
They're both winners. Or losers, depending on if you count the Wii or not.
Conversely, though, with any kind of wand or remote controller, all of your interactions are based off of that shape and feel. The Wiimote gets around this by having a stupid amount of accessories, golf clubs, wheels, guns and so on. What's to say that PSMC would be any different? Even Natal, there's no reason why you COULDN'T use accessories with it, I think MS even directly stated that some games will use a mixture of Natal and the Pad.
Wow, all these articles saying one console won over another, yet nobody dares say the word "draw".
"We are committed to ensuring that gamers on all platforms have a great RAGE experience," developer id said of the "ruckus".
What a fantastic statement...that tells us absolutely nothing.
This doesn't indicate that the PS3 version will be at 60FPS, it just tells us that you'll still have a "great experience". Sounds like what Capcom said about Dead Rising on the wii and we all know how that turned out.
To be honest, all the contrad...
