Neither console has been profitable because both companies are too busy trying to attack each other, and neither seems to have a clue on what made them successful. There billions spent on marketing has turned this into a price war. You can't expect to sell cheap consoles and spend a billion dollars trying to outdo your competitors with expensive marketing campaigns and expect to stay profitable.
If you study International Business, Microsoft led the charge with it's ...
LOL this "author" thinks that Sony came out with more dev tools in reaction to Sony fanboys? This had nothing to do with the direct feedback from the devs - no, Sony executives don't read emails and take conference calls with its devs, they read N4G and read what fanboys rant about from sun up till sun down.
This whole article has the grammar of a 3rd grader, and reads like yet another Microsoft fanboy going completely off topic to crow about how much he likes ...
I never cared for either Dante - they're both a couple of cardboard sods.
This new version looks like a little bitch who's never seen the inside of a gym, and we're supposed to buy he can even carry that sword much less use it? What planet do the emo bitches at Ninja Theory live on?
lol I know right. If you're a girl who puts on makeup and does her hair, and gets trashed because you look nice, you might want to stop hanging around children's playgrounds, where there are prepubescent boys who make fun of anything girly.
I mean, what guy past puberty is trashing a girl for looking good? Are you serious? Guys trash girls who are fat and disgusting, not the ones who are dressed sexy. What planet are you living on? lmao
I guess this guy forgot about Need for Speed Shift and Shift 2, there's tons of customization, body kits, performance upgrades, the works. It just had a terrible interface that wasn't very user friendly.
The issue here is that it was Lambert's LIKENESS that is associated with his character. When you see him wearing that exact same outfit, same haircut, playing videogames, the association is there.
Bridgestone went to Lambert's marketing company to create its Wii commercial, and instead of just letting others do the commercial, he's such an attention spotlight whore he couldn't bare to not be on TV. Any dumbass who runs a marketing company knows how companies ...
LOL right, here's this week's installment of "What some dumbass on the internet with no education thinks about business strategy - half baked edition"
Right... because the US is the only country in the world where violent videogames are sold...
lol not all gamers are living on minimum wage and lift with their parents, if you can't afford a PS4 then wait till it inevitably goes down in price.
Forget it, you're talking to a bunch of idiots who know nothing about business and economics, just a bunch of teenage trolls who live on their parents' allowance. The rest of us with actual jobs are willing to pay the same price as an ipad or iphone, which run about 700-800 bucks these days.
If you can't afford it just wait a year or two when it goes down in price, more games will be out so the old tired complaining argument of "no games at launch" won't come up for you. Consoles have always done more than tablets and phones, with bigger and better AAA games, multiple functionalities, it's a different business model altogether.
Companies charge 700 bucks for tablets and phones for no other reason than people are willing to pay it - being made for 60...
Some people are just too stupid to understand greatness. They're also unimaginative that they can't tackle objectives like taking over bases in any creative way they wish. Vote this crap down!
@ idiots above ^
Obviously N-A was just showing how university profs (at least his anyway) were uninformed and attach themselves to whatever hack study they have come across. There was no argument made against the ignorance, just an insight as to how the ignorance has spread.
Also, no argument has been made that people should go against the ESRB ratings and have kids play violent videogames. They have ratings for a reason, just like movies and music have ratings, and...
The Microsoft idea of displaying a picture outside of your tv will only work in a small number of rooms - those with a wall mounted tv and plenty of space on either side. If you have yours in a cabinet, or in a place that is well out from the wall on a stand, or the room isn't exactly square to your tv, this may not exactly work as well as when a tv is wall mounted, so I doubt this will catch on.
Also, 4K tv's will be like computer screens, with really high end resolutions yo...
I would love playing as Hakha again from Killzone 1, you're a half Helghast half human spy infiltrating Helghast ranks, using Helghast weapons and machinery, would be totally sick to go back and forth between an ISA and an inside guy and seeing how each other's actions correlate, making things easier for the other person if you complete objectives, and not failing the mission if you fail an objective, it just makes things harder for the other campaign, see I'm full of ideas lol.
That's a lot of rhetoric, but how about boiling it down to: If you promise a story and an ending publicly, stick to your promise and don't crap all over the people who paid 60 bucks for your game and break your promise.
In general, vague endings that leave more questions than answers are universally hated. Not having closure is universally hated. Cliffhanger endings are universally hated. They're cop outs and they never get awarded when it comes to movies, you don...
*Ba Dum Tshhh*
If they block used game sales I'll either pirate them or not buy a PS4, plain and simple.
It's just an industry trying to protect itself. Along with not selling you a hard copy, you don't even need a massive hard drive to store all your games. You can stream them instead. The bandwith requirements will be unbelievable, just hope your bandwith has been upgraded to allow for as many gigs of usage as possible.
Must've been one hell of a debate, given there have been no announcements, and we know nothing about the controller.
