EA's a cash whore, they do the same thing with their Need for Speed games, practically every NFS game that has come out allows you to buy timesaver packs and unlock all cars and tracks. Heavenly Sword will likely never be as good if Team Ninja doesn't do it, which they won't. They're the super emo creative types who can't do one project for too long, they MUST do something new on every project. Take Two will publish, the same devs who make all those 2K sports games will develop the game, so really it's unknown at this point. Given how much the industry has reached out to the people at THQ, it's likely some of the people working on the last THQ WWE games will wind up working on the team that makes the next WWE game for 2K games given all of their experience with making specifically wrestling games year after year, it wouldn't surprise me if EA picked a bunch of them up.
It isn't that console gamers don't care about graphics, it's that they want to get the best graphics that they possibly can given their financial means. If you can't afford a 1000 dollar PC to get Crysis 3 running on max settings, labelling that person as someone who doesn't care about graphics isn't exactly fair, nor smart. It's like labelling starving people in Africa as "people who don't care about food".
Wrestling used to be good, now it's PG and always will be, catering to little kids as much as possible. The reasoning obviously because UFC has taken all of Wrestling's adult audience, so instead of trying to battle UFC for the same audience, WWE found a new audience of little kids and will stick with that niche for as long as UFC is still in business, and MMA is popular (which looking at how well it's doing will be a very long time to come).
Hey, if we're all willing to shell out more money for HD PS2 and Xbox collections, Sony will more than likely continue that business model for PS4, anything to pay off the mountain of debt they're incurring paying off the PS3 AND PS4 R&D and manufacturing costs.

They will dilute any franchise and completely alienate the original fanbase in a cheap effort to sell even a little bit more copies than last year. Well they had to whore out the franchise somehow, including shooter/cover mechanics and more human enemies to have shootouts with to make it more like Gears of War and Call of Duty. EA has diluted the franchise to appeal to the Call of Duty players in an attempt to sell more copies - including Co-Op for no other reason than some people were too scared of the first 2 games (which weren't scary a bit once you figured out you were an unstoppable walking tank) and so the aspect of being alone...
What more could people want?
BTW DS3 will likely be twice as long if you happen to play it once in single player, and again in Co-Op for those who were too scared to play it alone (the entire reason they put in Co-Op and more shooter/cover mechanics, to whore and dilute the franchise in a vain attempt to sell more copies to a more mainstream audience).
Yeah, you've seriously got to get a life if you can't think of another way to Prestige CoD, so you do it in training mode at half the XP rate. Seriously, get a life, go outside, hit the gym, get a girlfriend, you'll be a lot happier than having a stupid Prestige number that no one will care about.
