The reason Killzone looks so amazing with "low end PC specs" is because there is no complex operating system like Windows running in the background. The OS is by comparison much simpler, there are no programs running in the background like a PC, plus games are made specifically catered to the architecture of that console.
PC's are different, where sometimes your specific architecture isn't as compatible as it should be, where some brands of video cards just...

No one is claiming that a game can't be a tool used by gamers to create artistic expressions. Everything from creating Little Big Planet levels to painting your mask in Army of Two can all be considered artistic expressions created by gamers.
The topic is whether games inherently make gamers artists, which they don't. They only make gamers artists if the Dev purposefully creates tools that allow artistic expressions like the examples given ab...
The problem is, when you play one single game for so long and you get consumed by it, you can't handle change. People are creatures of habit, they don't like change, so when a game becomes habitual, you can't handle something different.
CoD players are particularly fickle, they can't stand when something is different than CoD. If you're going to make something different, you need to make sure it works though, and that it's fun. The changes need to make sense, ...

Gamers aren't artists, the designers are artists. Just like painters are artists, however the people who go to art galleries are patrons. Are we really not clear on the meaning of simple words?
Yeah the title is very misleading and fishing for hits. What the Nvidia person said was that it wasn't worth the price Sony was offering to do business, thus it wasn't worth the "opportunity cost" which is different than just "cost".
Opportunity cost is an economics term describing the things you give up for the choices you make. If Nvidia does business with Sony and Microsoft, the opportunity cost is not being able to do business with other compa...
As a consumer you have the freedom to either agree or disagree with ANY price, and vote with your wallet, voice your concerns to the powers that be, that's capitalism. You don't have to pay 70 bucks a game if you don't want to, thing is if a lot of people share your views then the market will force prices down, that's economics 101 people.
Got it? Good.
Kratos is definitely God of War, but it doesn't mean that they can't shake up the series, experiment with Kratos' brother, going back and forth between the two in an intertwining story. Although the logic this "author" is using makes absolutely no sense, just like every other conspiracy theorist's logic.
You can't get any actual words out of the jumbled string of letters unless you're super high on acid. Whatever nonsensical result you get m...
Given how long Gran Turismo games take to come out, this could take years. The Polyphony Digital guys are perfectionists and program till their fingers fall off. They also have a tendency to add a ton of fluff and extra features no one cares about like photo mode. Knowing PD they'll likely take some art assets from the GT5 cars and pretty them up for GT6, along with perhaps some GT6 native cars that will look jaw dropping I'm sure.
FYI the reason GT3 sold so well as ...
LOL yeah I saw this on Jimmy Fallon, it's all real time, although I can hardly imagine that Anthony Anderson claiming to be a gamer, he played worse than my little sister. He looks like he hasn't played a first person shooter... well ever, as he did what first timers usually do with no coordination, they just walk in place, staring in one direction, usually either the floor or the ceiling as they get shot to pieces.
Luckily for them the demo had them at infinite health, so th...
The market hasn't really grown much since the PS2 days. PS2 still has sold more than PS3 and 360 combined, it will take a while before the current gen consoles outsell the total combined PS2/Xbox1 sales.
Currently there's no data or evidence that would support the idea that next gen consoles won't sell as well as current gen consoles. It's just based on nonsense and some internet troll's desire for hits on his website.
He's not crazy, he's just out of touch boob and knows nothing about gaming, why people buy games, why people stay away from certain games/consoles. He's just a boob who doesn't game, and as a non-gamer he is personally more interested in non-gamer related things like skype and tv-tuning.
More RAM does mean a Developer can do more on screen, so with less limitations they will be able to do more. If you call it innovation then fine, that's one way of puttin...
Geforce Titan has 6GB of GDDR5 RAM, PS4 has 8GB... sorry Kurian, your math is a tad off, and everyone seems to agree.
No, he really is up there with Charlie Sheen.
Pachter is an out of touch boob with no business predicting anything.
lol wow really adampls? That comment is so out there I don't even know how to begin to respond to it, other than to leave you to do some research as to who is making The Last of Us, and who made Uncharted (cough... Naughty Dog... cough)
Anyway, in defense of Assassin's Creed, they have multiple teams creating each iteration. Each one takes 3 years to make, and AC3 sold better than any other one in the series, indicating the reboot was well needed, as Revelations was t...
Michael Pachter personally likes the services xbox is coming out with. He previously predicted that xbox live would attract a premium, classier type of customer due to having to pay for it, where PSN would attract everyone, meaning more kids screaming obscenities into your headset. Boy, Pachter you sure were right about that one, XBL couldn't be classier, with absolutely no screaming kids yelling the N word and other hate obscenities into your headset.
This is the proble...
We have things called analysts, and they use company strategies to predict what companies will do. Microsoft has clearly been trying to compete with Apple and Google, as their executives have already stated. It isn't just Sony and Nintendo that Microsoft wants to steal market share from. In order to do this, Microsoft wants to cater to Apple and Google, meaning more social networking integration, more casual games similar to what you see on phones and tablets, more Kinect, more apps, more...
DMC had good gameplay, and a stupid, skinny, weakling character that no one could relate to, so nobody bought it.
Lara is also an overly skinny girl who looks like she can't lift 10 pounds much less perform the unbelievable physical feats in Tomb Raider. That's where the controversy should have been, everything else was drivel from trolling gaming press fishing for hits on their sites.
It may benefit you to wait to see the defect rate on Msoft's new console, especially if you don't want to experience the same nightmare that was the RROD. Microsoft isn't a hardware company, they're a software company, and are more than willing to rush out something even if defect rates are 30% and higher right off the bat if it means releasing in time for Christmas.

I agree that the PS4 will be the best one made THUS FAR, obviously anything after it like PS5 will be better.
