Here's the real fanboy test: if Microsoft disables used games and forces you to always be online when playing games, is that enough for you to switch consoles next generation or will you suck Microsoft's d*ck so much you'd be willing to give up your own consumer rights?

I get it that it's a misleading picture fishing for hits, but really, you're talking about dudes here. And for the most part, dudes have no business judging the attractiveness of other dudes. Also, if they really want people to take Lara Croft seriously, which it appears they do, they can't expect anyone with an IQ above 60 to think that a skinny little chick who looks like she can't lift 10 pounds can pull off the unbelievable athletic feats in Tomb Raider. It just looks ridiculous. She needs at least SOME muscle definition if you expect me to believe...

EA got greedy, wanted to expand the fanbase by making it like every other game that just happened to be selling well at the time, like Gears of War. So they included human enemies that shoot back, and zero horror elements.
Instead, they made a watered down action game. But they didn't market the game as an action game, they marketed it as "The new face of horror". Instea...
The game sucks a$$ if you've ever seen a single youtube video of the gameplay of this. It looks like something made in someone's garage. The zombies are so braindead, even actual zombies said "damn... they some stupid zombies *drool*"
They've probably been working off of the previous dev kits that had less power than the final version. Final dev kits were just sent out recently, so you're going to notice the first batch of games not harnessing full power... but really that's been the case practically every generation. First few games always look worse than games 2 and 3 years out.
Ahem, I like Sony but "The next generation starts when we say it does" is a bit of a passive aggressive jab at Microsoft. I could name a few more, but I get it, Microsoft being a much more Western company has taken it to Sony at every step of the way in a much more aggressive manner, and it has definitely worked to snatch market share away from Sony.

It would just look like they were ripping off God of War:Ascension, that released right alongside Tomb Raider. Same subtitle as GoW, and now with demons and giants.... you can't tell me they wouldn't be at least accused of blatantly ripping off GoW.
The Crytek guy was trying to say that consoles would be too expensive if they were too powerful, and so Crytek has estimated what specs could make up a 500 dollar console each year, and so far their estimates have been correct given past specs. They have said estimates of next gen as well and in so far specs have been largely in line with their estimates again. Lets just say, if consoles were 1000 bucks this gen, it wouldn't matter how high the specs were, even if it was technically worth...
Microsoft has gained a ton of brand loyalty in the US. People just like the online service more, so Sony has to convince people that the problems they had with PSN will be gone. That means no lag, no server problems, and easy matchmaking. It shouldn't be a competition with the technology just to get in touch with your friends in the same lobby. It's these kinds of things people want to see, and I doubt Sony really gets that enough to include it in their marketing push.
Microsoft has done nothing but trash Sony at every step of the way and vice versa. This is nothing new, and is the same marketing tactics that a lot of western companies use. Instead of building your own market share, you attack your competitors. The problem with that strategy is that no company exists unscathed, and usually in dire financial straits, as has been seen with both Sony and Microsoft this generation.
