lol I saw this on TV watching Conan... as he walks around a guy's feet he has no clue he's there lol utterly stupid AI
This article is a bit whiney -
”We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops II on PlayStation 3. We are working on resolution, thank you.”
"As you can see though they did not provide any insight as to why this issue was occurring at all in the first place."
Yeah, of course they didn't, if they knew what was causing the problem it would've been fixed by now dumbass. Stop whining like a little girl a...
Treyarch is such a crap developer, but really they optimized the engine for the 360, not the PS3, which is surprising that in this stage they haven't updated their engine with a dev team the size of a small country making this game. Ridiculous.
That's what she said ^
lol but anyway, the number of discs shouldn't matter, as most people are likely installing the game. Microsoft disabled people from using their own memory so I don't know how much Msoft flash drives and hard drives run for these days, but I'm sure you if look around on ebay or something you should find something decently priced.
That sort of thing happens in every game, where people camp out as a means of strategy. Twitch gameplay was even more pervasive with popular shooters like Quake and Unreal Tournament back in the day, those were considered the pinnacle of gaming skill with the huge amount of pro gaming tournaments featuring those franchises.
If only people would take metacritic with the grain of salt it deserves we wouldn't be having this dumb conversation.
Yeah they had an exhibition for 3 months, spanning the entire history of videogames. That's all you're likely to see is one off exhibitions is my point, don't expect Mass Effect to show up in the Louvre as a featured piece for tourists.
The creative process is what defines it as art according to how the dictionary defines art. When you start using the creative process to create, it's art. It doesn't make it good art, or fine art, but it's art, in the same way that your kid's finger paintings are art.
Are games fine art is a different question. I don't think you'll be seeing videogames in a museum anytime soon, now matter how good they get.
"For some reason, writing a video game review is dangerous. It leads to the fractured, nonsensical bumbling of Internet commenters, attacking someone personally for sharing an opinion. An opinion those commenters actively sought out to consider purchasing an unreleased game."
Perhaps it's because some reviews are blatantly biased, or taste-based, with too much subjective nonsense, where what people need is some OBJECTIVITY. If you can't write objectively the...
Here's the deal: the guy had a crap PC. Ran the game at 15 FPS when you will have tons of people being able to run it at 60 FPS. When your PC sucks of course the game isn't going to process AI properly, the levels will look like crap, and with the settings too high with extra bloom (which he complained about) the FPS will tank even more.
I'd suggest not reading PC reviews for this reason, and at least stick to console reviews. That way you'll get at least a s...
lol bubbles to me
Some give you a fraction of the game and charge for the rest, others have microtransactions, others have an eventual monthly charge, others use ads, others have a combination of the above. It's great because it allows you to try out a game before buying. It also means if someone robs your house they can't take any of your stuff since it's in a cloud. It also means if your system breaks down and you're only allowed to have your games registered on so many consoles, you lose eve...
lol yeah, Duke Nukem in charge of Veteran Affairs... because nothing fixes Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and losing all your limbs and part of your sanity like spending all day at a strip club lol
I bought the game new and there was no insert, no code anywhere, how do you get the DLC? I paid for the damn DLC, how can I get my money back? private message me
LOL they have a lot of dumb reasons as to why PS3 exclusives Beyond and Last of Us aren't going to win GOTY, because exclusives have only won twice out of the last 9 times.
This begs the question - who cares? It means nothing if it's just one website or tv show, there are hundreds of sites that give their own GOTY to some title or another.
Just because a website gave GOTY to another Elder Scrolls or Fallout game didn't make me anymore intere...
LOL this was more or less accurate anyway, no harm done. What, like they're telling anyone anything they didn't know? Of course he's an xbox and halo fanboy, I saw all his interviews where he couldn't believe another game could be better than Halo 3 or Gears of War 1. He was shocked when someone said MGS4 blew those titles out of the water (which it did, as well as every other Halo and Gears game for that matter).
That's supposed to say 'rush' ^^^
And for anyone who is still living under a rock, people experiencing the Red Ring of Death on 33% of all new consoles within a certain period of time is inexcusable. You can find story after story, millions of people who have gone through multiple consoles all of which have had serious hardware failure of one kind or another. With over 60 million consoles sold you wonder how many of these were repeat buys because people just got...
Right, because Microsoft has never been known to rish out a console with serious hardware problems just to meet a deadline.... oh wait
Kane and Lynch was the worst game to get a sequel, as far as worst franchise this generation, it's probably a Wii game, with all their shovelware, or maybe a Kinect game, with all of their shovelware, as some of their games are so broken they're unplayable. At least you could get to the end of Kane and Lynch lol
If you bought the Vita before its huge price drop, you must be livin la Vita lol
Review scores for the biggest games like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed haven't been promising, hopefully you're into the Japanese market because they seem to support Sony handhelds more than any other country, just like they did giving the PSP life all these years.
