lol you thought N4G had actual news? Rumours, speculation, trolling, and baseless opinions is more like it.

How about you buy them when they're cheap and work on finishing your backlog of games before paying 60 bucks for a new one that will be 20 bucks by the time you even get to it? This is the only reason to be embarrassed. Having a life outside of gaming is something you should at least be proud of - that you aren't stuck inside all day playing games, you're actually experiencing real life.

It isn't always about graphics for some people. Some of the biggest sales volume of consoles are made even after the next console is released. This may sound crazy to some people but the PS2 was still selling 90,000 units a month right up until they stopped production. 7 years is plenty long, unless you do what Microsoft is planning, where you will never need to buy another console. This means they will either work on streaming games, or allowing people to buy upgrades to their console.

The 360 has been notorious for having a much darker Gamma level by default, that can be adjusted in the settings.

Obviously whoever made this list never played Metal Gear Solid 4. Or Resistance 3.

BTW God of War only has quick time events at the very end of Boss Battles, so haters can STFU please.

It will be difficult to match the RAM Sony has without Microsoft going all out and getting 16GB of DDR3 RAM, at 68-107 GB/s they've got a long way to go to match Sony's 176 GB/s. Hopefully the next Xbox won't get dorked, because it may mean Sony's console gets limited anyway, as Microsoft will be sure to include in its contracts that games can't look substantially better on other platforms other than its own.

lol and that was just your body temperature.

Most of them at the beginning are hot, the rest are fat and ugly and/or dudes.

No one is saying that graphics alone are what make people care about a character. Can people stop being idiots, taking things completely out of context, changing someone's words and attacking an argument that was never even made?

Obviously it takes storytelling to create emotional investments with characters, however with the more powerful hardware, that is what Hulst was referring to as the tool that allowed the team to better develop the characters in the story - that ...

LMAO Nintendo fanboys are so butthurt ^

It looks better than any Nintendo game "so far", as in the ones that have already been released.

It also looks better than any of those crappy childish and/or crap games just mentioned.

For those of you not mentally challenged, it isn't about which console is more powerful. It's about which developers can create the best games, with the best graphics, and so far Killzone looks better...

Well hey Activision, you failed to make the Wii U version any better than console versions, did you really think everyone was going to ignore other much better games on the Wii U for the piece of crap you pooped out just because it had the CoD name slapped onto it?

Looks better than anything on the Wii U so far, sorry Nintendo!

Yeah, don't you love how this "author" considers himself an old school gamer who hates microtransactions, DLC season passes, and has always been a PC gamer who has been "confused" by consoles, also considers himself a game critic with enough authority on consoles to judge their games. If they really confuse you, perhaps you should just stick to playing and critiquing PC games, which even more than consoles have free to play models with tons of microtransactions to make...

Right, it had nothing to do with the gaming being less than 5 hours long and having a crappy, disjointed story. It also had nothing to do with the multiplayer being a camper's dream of sitting around with a stealth suit on sniping anyone with no chance of being caught beforehand. Way to balance things, Crytek.

We will see if there is fatigue when Bioshock comes out. I have a feeling the scores will be rather high despite it being also the third in a series within the sam...

Every new console being as expensive as they will be right out of the gate is catered to the hardcore audience, typical older with more money. Older people don't care what the console costs, and extra 1 or 2 hundred bucks is nothing, just like Cliffy B said, you need to cater to the older hardcore audience on day 1.

Yeah, it will include physical games, just don't expect to be able to sell them, take them to a friend's house, borrow them, or buy them used.

Everyone seems to have these pie in the sky predictions that these consoles with massive specs will be 300-400 bucks. Are people high on acid? Yeah probably, because Sony and M$oft will have to be if they think they're going to stay profitable taking massive losses on next gen consoles after the financial disaster that was...

They are all about gaming at Microsoft - just not hardcore gaming. They want to attack every other company's market share now, not just Sony with its hardcore gamer audience. They want to attack Nintendo going after the casuals with Kinect, Apple for its social network integration, and Valve by making all games tied to one machine, killing the used games industry. M$oft wants a piece of everyone else's pie, being the ultimate entertainment hub. While trying to be everything to everyon...

You mean 96% pirated games which is destroying the industry right? Well hey, anything to keep your costs down when you just spent 3000 bucks on a PC in hopes of running Crysis 3 on Ultra high settings... only for it to still dip from 60 FPS when the action gets heavy lol oh well.

Humans are creatures of habit, and it takes a one of a kind to understand when change can be good, without having it necessarily shoved down their throat. Seeing the value in change without the sales presentation is a skill that very few have, and it separates the mice from the men, the unevolved from the evolved.

I'd say Killzone and every other launch title will be vastly overshadowed by games coming down the pipeline in years 2 and 3. Why? Because every dev thus far has been programming assuming they'll only have 2-4 GB of GDDR5 RAM, when in reality they'll be able to squeeze out 8. The dev kits aren't as powerful as the final build, and the final specs haven't even been finalized what with an even more powerful CPU being rumoured.

What we'll see more next g...

It's apparently just got 72 problems but a Microsoft fanboy ain't one - they'll be in line with all the other mouth breathers ready to shell out day one no matter what the failure rate of their inevitably rushed console turns out to be.
