Kotaku is definitely a liberal mess pushing their agendas on everyone, when they should be talking about "Why push developers to be inclusive in their art, rather than letting them just create whatever art they want to create?"

I want a developer's questions to be "How can we write a good story? How can we perfectly mesh the gameplay with the story? What mechanisms can we use to create more immersion?"

Please don't waste everyone&...

Yeah in the beginning the 360 was a games machine, for hardcore gamers, now Microsoft wants to expand and grow by trying to steal from Nintendo's pie, and if they dilute their resources they may become a decent company for hardcore gamers, and a decent company for casuals, where excellent experiences can be had in both markets by Sony and Nintendo respectfully. This has already been seen with the 360 as gamers have complained about. It's more than obvious this is Microsoft's strat...

Who cares about "Bros before Ho's" as a trophy name. It isn't Misogyny, it's showing where your values lie. Who do you respect more, some dumb hoe, or your best friends? Exactly. Girls have the same expression, chicks before dicks. It's the same expression of values in reverse, and it isn't sexist. It doesn't hate based on gender, it is just an expression indicating what you value more, and quite frankly, it should be true for anyone with a decent moral compa...

While some trolls will try and say the PS4 doesn't compare to PC's out there, you need to compare apples to apples. Show me a PC that costs less than $500 that performs like the PS4. Can't? Exactly.

It's all about performance divided by price. If you need to spend 3 grand on a PC to run graphics that look as good as PS4's Killzone, you're doing it wrong. The value proposition just isn't there. It's like comparing a Ferrari 458 to a Nissan GTR....

She was an annoyance largely due to the fact that she is friendly AI, and writing friendly AI is a pain in the ass if you want to balance it properly. The glitches with the friendly AI have been the reason this game keeps getting delayed, as it has proven incredicly difficult to balance and code for.

People are so bitter and jaded. You can't say a game isn't original if the only other games like it are the other games in the franchise.

Call of Duty and Battlefield can be charged with this, not God of War. No other games do it like God of War. None have the scale, the amazing graphics, the brutal fights, the exhilarating combat, the rewarding gameplay, the awesome storyline, I could go on and on.

As for Multiplayer, you claim it isn't goo...

This is all written by someone who has never actually played any of the games, so he's just drawing at straws trying to figure out why Dead Space 3 didn't sell.

As someone who has played the first two games, and highly schooled on the reception of Dead Space 3, the reason Dead Space 3 didn't sell well is due to the fact that EA tried to dilute the franchise and make it less survival horror and more of an action game in the vein of Gears of War. By including human...

This is just nerdy OCD ad nausea. There's more than two types of RAM, and no one cares what any of it is called. Get a life people.

Forget Halo 2 HD, how about finally making Halo 3 HD lol that game looks like garbage compared to Halo 4, with sub hd resolution.

Microsoft needs to cater to the hardcore right out of the gate, because those are the ones who spend a lot of money on games. Casual audiences go for inexpensive gaming solutions, that's why the vast majority of games on the iphone costs 1-5 bucks. Just like Cliffy B said, it's the older hardcore crowd that has a lot of money - that's ...

I'm surprised they still haven't done anything like a new game plus, or some variation, where you keep something when you start the game, like maybe all your skills, not necessarily your weapons, but all your weapon holsters that allow carrying the most ammo etc. That would be extremely nice.

It's simple - David Hayter asked for way more money, and is leveraging the fans to get him more money. Don't people get it? There's a reason he's tagging Kojima and Konami Productions. He wants them to know that without him their game won't sell, and will piss tons of fans off. He's right, the reaction by and large has been terrible.

Ubisoft has enough people to finish the game. The design was completed during Alpha phase, Beta phase doesn't require designers, it requires coders and people who can iron out glitches, make the game look and run smooth.

We saw this with many designers who left Bioshock Infinite's team when their contracts were up, and tons of internet know-nothings thought Bioshock was going in the toilet because people were leaving the team, not knowing that that's just how dev...

Most of the time said AAA games are terrible ports that underperform compared to other consoles - see: everything AAA port that has ever been released on Wii U.

Nintendo fans are obviously enjoying much better games than that crappy Call of Duty port, and that other mediocre port of Batman Arkham City.

People buy Nintendo for a reason - they are diehard Nintendo fans. If they wanted AAA games from third parties they would buy a PS3 or 360.

God of War has always been stellar, it's just perfect every time. Whether you think the game needs to change more or less with each iteration is irrelevant - it's always a damn good game no matter what anyone says.

EA got greedy and thought they could dilute the franchise to make money off of the lucrative action shooter market. They didn't implement it properly, made a crappy action shooter with no challenge, no survival aspects, and not a single person from the action shooter had a clue what Dead Space was all about.

EA alienated their original fanbase more and more with each installment, however they did nothing to market the game to a new fanbase. They marketed the game like a ...

Yeah, when I spent 80 bucks fixing my PS3, I backed up the hard drive to get all my old stuff back. This was a couple of years ago so I had to pay 300 bucks for another PS3, as there was no trade in special at the time, and no free games special either despite there being one only a few days prior to it happening. I decided to give my old PS3 to my sister, it died a few months later. I already sent it to get fixed to the same guy 5 times, and after 3 months of fixing it initially he wouldn...

Yeah, I'll be buying this when it's cheap for a few reasons. The fact that I'll be even considering it is only because it's NOTHING like past Tomb Raider games, all of which had horrible controls, horrible combat, horrible everything.

The fact that I'll be waiting for it to be cheap is simple:
-mediocre multiplayer that is clearly tacked on
-Lara is a skinny little chick with absolutely no muscle definition whatsoever. She looks like she&...

Just because something can be commercialized to make money doesn't make it not art. It just makes it commercialized art aka products. You can sell your art at an art gallery, and invite billionaires from everywhere (particularly those who aren't fond of each other) to come and bid on it just to get the best chances of getting the highest price and making the most money. You're doing things to get the most money, you're selling a product that people are buying, whether anyone t...
