If you're a graphics whore you won't like it I've been playing through it and I love ever part of it like I used to, same hardcore gunplay, very challenging as it doesn't hold your hand at all. It was the start of the gritty war shooters and the industry never looked back as it were. Before that it was super cartoony colourful games with goofy weapons like Red Faction, Halo, Timesplitters, then Killzone came along and and the grey, gritty shooter was born.
Yeah Final Fantasy is an outdated mess. Clunky and full of bad game design that fanboys were happy to put up with back in the day (and some even now), but really the only thing it has going for it is the story, turn based RPG's are all garbage IMO.

Horrible list - I agree, MGS3 has the greatest boss battles, so magnificently designed. Anyone who calls the sniper shootout with The End "boring" has their head up their a$$ and doesn't know how to play the game proper. You need to use your brain and hunt him down while he hunts you, it was invigorating from start to finish, however if you're a shlub and you just sit there waiting I can see what that would be boring - because you're stupid and not proactive.

lol I know right, although with this review he's pretty accurate, although it is anecdotal with his experiences with co op. If you find someone who knows what they're doing it's great so you don't have to babysit.
