No duh it's his, every list is just a representative of the person making it. No one person can speak for anyone other than themselves.
I was referring to the act of making stupid lists in the first place. Don't get it confused.
Wanting to do nothing but make lists all day and quantify things, splitting hairs with numbers is the nerdiest most useless thing you can do with your time.
That being said, this list not having MGS2, MGS Peace Walker and MGS4, but some goofy cartoony game at number one is a crime.
Kojima already said he wouldn't develop it, he would just lend the technology of the Fox Engine. He isn't a horror game afficionado, and he's way too busy with his own projects.
Yeah, especially since some publishers have reported having 80-95% of their games pirated, I'm sure it's cheaper in the long run for PC gamers willing to pay 3 times the price of a console for a PC gaming rig that will almost play max settings. If you really want max settings on Crysis 3 and other big games, you're going to spend well over a grand.
It's Utterly Ridiculous how bad the author is at spelling.
Here's all you need to know about sequels: If the sequel is a good game, and a good experience, it's ok with me. People need to stop their whining and complaining when something good comes out, just because it has a 4 in the title doesn't make it bad. Think of all the awesome games with a 4 in the title - Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, I could go on but you get the point. Don't demonize gam...
Don't you love it when an incompetent dev team can't figure out why everyone hates their shitty game? Like when Atari couldn't figure out why everyone hated the disaster that was Alone in the Dark, or why the people who made the disaster that was Kane and Lynch couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about, what with the glitchy crappy game design.... I face palm every time stuff like this from devs.
Play-test your games and this won't happen!
This is the biggest flaim-baiting fishing for hits nonsense ever. Don't click the link, and vote this garbage down.
Hey if a publisher sees a way to milk its customers of every last dime they can squeeze out of them they'll do it. Online purchasing has led to a lot of milking of consumers, with on-disc DLC, season passes that are supposed to cover all DLC, season passes that no longer cover all DLC, it's a whole new way of making sure those with disposable income do just that - dispose of their income into the hands of publishers.
Sony has never created a console that was easy to develop for. It has always taken a ton of effort from dev teams to create something great, and a lot of devs just don't have the manpower to do multi-platform releases. When Sony got word that Platinum games would be sending development to some poor sap team outside of Platinum, bells should have been ringing at Sony and they should have done something about it. That's just smart business. They could have provided better dev tools, and...
All you need to do is look at the sales figures of Demons Souls and Dark Souls.
If you can't see where I'm going with this - they both undersold, largely because of the bad game design that led them to being so difficult in the first place.
This, herein, is the difference between challenging and frustrating. God of War is challenging. Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Ninja Gaiden, and Devil May Cry 3 are all just stupidly frustrating with horrible game design.
And guess what ladies, he's single!
One problem with mods is people can access and copy the source code and pirate the game like what they do with PC games.
As a concept I agree, it would be fantastic. Especially when game designers have no talent and no ability to create good games, we need the gaming community to get it right.
lol ok Logic, nice of you to completely disagree with your own previous comments ^^^
"Also, when the PS4 launches(2014 or 2015), it will be at LEAST $399 for the cheapest SKU, and thats if it offers a MINIMAL advantage over the PS3."
It's clear you don't think it will have an advantage over PS3 yet the Wii U will suprass it by leaps and bounds. Try using better logic next time.
Bye!
I know right. Thing is, very few xbox gamers have any clue what Sony is offering, their mindset is just so closed off from anything outside of xbox, Microsoft has certainly done a magnificent job of keeping xbots in a bubble of limited information, so if a competitor even offers something great like free game trials etc. people would have no idea without endless marketing campaign dollars to push the new content.
Or as the "writer" put in a disclaimer
"The following is not meant to describe the COD community as a whole, but, instead, those who seem intent on lowering its standards and giving it a bad name."
Really, it's just a rant about online gaming in general. People don't play by the rules and don't play according to the objectives. People cheat, hack and exploit glitches. People don't like what is familiar, not what is dif...
Well that's the gaming industry for you, and it's troll fans. m
Make your game exactly the same like people on this forum are saying to do - people whine and cry that it doesn't innovate enough.
Change your franchise and do mix things up - people complain that it wasn't like it was before.
Mark the game down because it wasn't enough like RE 2, 3 and 4? This is why you're not a game designer.
Doing something goofy to block - does anyone remember Heavenly Sword, where you can only block by not pressing any buttons and remaining still? lol retarded
True, unless you have a troll magazine/website like Edge or Eurogamer which give bad reviews nitpicking games to no end just for hits. It doesn't even matter if the reviewer has nothing objectively bad to say about the game, just that their personal taste in games doesn't match up with whatever they're reviewing.
Don't you love it when you see a game you love ie. your favourite fighting game or racing game, and the reviewer absolutely hates fighting or racing...
Nintendo isn't going to win or lose, they aren't competing for the same audience as Msoft and Sony, they're fighting for the casual market, while Msoft and Sony are fighting for the hardcore audience with a sub-par effort to attract casuals. Know your stuff fools.
Oh great, another list about business decisions written by someone with poor reasoning skills and no business credentials. Show me your business degree then I'll take you seriously when you criticize business decisions made by companies run by people much smarter than you. Yes, believe or not, there are people out there smarter than you. It's just so obvious that this is written by with a whiny consumerist mindset. Yeah we all want things to be free, but businesses are in it for one t...
