You'd wreck it given the chance and you know it.
There is no such thing, goofball. There is a 90nm feature size, 65nm, and 45nm.... The equipment isn't designed in such a manner as to make custom sizes... Maybe you should do a little research before posting something so dumb.
To release it on the DS and somehow create some kind of co-op play with a wifi enabled 360 running halo 3... or something...
I thought that there were two chips involved in backward compatibility. Is this not the case? A CPU and GPU. I thought they removed one but not the other in the Pal version (80 gig). Someone enlighten me on this that knows...
*edit* nevermind, I found it. The cpu/gpu were comgined into a single chip when the playstation slim was released and therefore removing one automatically removes the other. Apparently the 80gig version is entirely backward compatible via software w...
It almost seems like the environments in the current build are suffering from lighting effects being too intense or something. The facial images are better in the 07 build for sure, though.
Dark is getting old. How about some environments other than dark gray, decaying ones? How about some new environments in, you know, modern daylight places?
Can you think of anything VG related in the last year that has come as a total surprise that noone saw coming?
I know I read it somewhere -- verbatim. If this is a duplicate, please delete!
Historically, games have been rushed to cash-in on new consoles. Every console has their weak titles... 360, gamecube, wii, ps2, and so on. There is no way every game coming out will be a graphical masterpiece and a AAA+ title...
It isn't an indictment of the PS3 capabilities any more than something like two worlds is on the 360. Get over it... Besides, there need to be a lot more games that are simple pick up and play games that aren't always 60 bucks and 2-3 year developm...
the 360 instead I think. I've played both of the "separate" lego star wars on the PS2 and the entire game is basically light saber and using the force on a whole bunch of objects. Shaking and swinging will get old really fast I think...
Hello!, Mcfly! Anyone in there? Since when do reviewers base the score of a game by comparing it to games coming out in the future? How the hell is that biased? His statements are based on PGR4, the finished, retail version, and is rated on it's own merits and compared to EXISTING games on the market. Period. That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read...
I'm tired of all the bickering. Each game is reviewed on its own merits. Period. The review is on the game released today. It is astoundingly stupid to compare an existing game, playable today to one that is coming up some time in the future. Until both finished, retail boxed products are both available, stop comparing them. It's a pathetically weak argument.
Right now the best racers on the 360 period. GT:HD doesn't even begin to compare to Forza 2 or PGR4. When GT:Pro...
I don't read your comments, either, but just in case you didn't know, the system AUTOMATICALLY ignores people with 1 bubble. Your comments are only seen by those that actually un-ignore you which is highly unlikely. Your best bet would be self-natural-selection. There are a myriad of ways to go out with a bang. Try playing in traffic on the freeway at night for starters.
Damn, I love the ignore feature.
In the summer of 2000 it was announced that Microsoft would purchase the company formerly known as Bungie Software, Inc. and make it Bungie Studios, a part of Microsoft's gaming division under Ed Fries.
As part of the transaction, Take Two Interactive received all rights to the Myth and Oni franchises in return for the 19.9% of Bungie they had purchased in 1999. They also reportedly received the rights to produce two games using the Halo engine.
Further, Microsof...
They really do need to clean out existing 60 gig stock. There is obviously still a good bit of 60 gig inventory out there as I still see that SKU in every store I go in that carries the PS3. I'm assuming they are hoping that by the time they announce the 40 gig with a price cut they will have just about cleared the channel of 60 gigs. If not, they are going to be in the same boat as the 360 -- 3 SKUs on the shelf -- 40, 60, and 80, each with a different price and different feature set. Th...
The 360 and PS3 on a global basis are far from "neck and neck"... The PS3 stands at about 5M in hands of consumers and the 360 about 11M in hand to the consumer. If they do drop to $399, I suspect a big surge, but will it be a "gamer" surge or a "movie watcher" surge? I think Sony is making a mistake with this big a drop now. They should do it when the library is bigger in my opinion.
At standard retail game price for EACH motion game and specific controller, it's kind of expensive even though the console is cheap... AT about $50 U.S., there are 6 different games with unique controllers making the overall package quite expensive. For just 1 of the games, it makes sense, but if anything, this could actually spur more people into buying Wiis once they try one of these on the PS2. It'll sure be interesting to see how this does over the holidays... You are talking $300 for...
These are crazy numbers. This guy is clueless. If you look at his numbers, He has the PS3, for instance, selling roughly 31 million units in 2K8 and 2K9 alone... That's about 1.3 million a month on average starting Jan 1, 2008. There is no freaking way. It might ramp up to that kind of number from where we are now, but if it spends any time in ramp up, it will be more like 2M/month to get there... This guy is a bonehead.
From reading it, he sure felt forced to play it and hammered it pretty hard but then discovered he liked it. I'd say that's actually pretty good... He clearly starts off with a tone of "I hate PGR3 and games like it" so this is obviously $hit. Then, as he plays it, he discovers it's pretty good...
Racing games are tough... They never seem to please a large segment. There are always little nuances to each game that people really like. Given this fact, I'd stick wi...
